We love the food here, but I can’t handle the smoking section being at the front of the store and having to walk through it. The back isn’t bad, but I hate cigarette smoke. The food is always fresh and delicious!

Waited to be seated, then as the lady was seating us she told a waitress she had a secret to tell her & preceded to walk away & left us standing! In their defense they were busy:(

Pretty good lil mom and pop off the beaten path. Get the big chop!!! Given a honey glaze, put in a smoker then put on the grill… sooooo good! Customer service was good but they forgot to put my ticket in so I waited forever, however, they did compensate me with free dessert!

I would like to point out that this is part of the state where there still is a smoking and a non-smoking section. This is probably awesome if you are a smoker and not as good for non smokers. There is a lingering stale smoke smell, but it is masked by the smell of fried things and smoked meat. They had a chalkboard up with new sides and dinner specials. My hubby ordered the fried pork chop dinner with French fries. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich. Both were tasty. And service was fairly quick. We didn’t need refills which probably was a good thing. I think we would have waited a while for refills. My husband loves this place. He like the food options and the restroom was clean. I thought it was just ok. Nothing impressed me. It was decent. Go here if you are in the area and want home cooking.

Awesome breakfast… Dining experience not so much… one of the few places left that embraces smoking while dining, even at breakfast. I’m all for civil liberties, but yours stop the moment it encroaches on mine. Won’t be back until Lietchfield is smoke free.

Tonight we stopped in at The Farmers Feedmill Resurant here in Kentucky around 8. the owner walks over and says they are closed. She suggested a mexican food place we were like” man, we really wanted some home cooking but thx for the mexican food tip”.she then says«wait, hold on.» She walks to the kitchen and comes back with 6 to go boxes full of catfish, meatloaf, mac and cheese, veggies and hot rolls. «Sit down… I hope u don’t mind eating out of to go boxes and says«sorry if it’s cold».(it wasn’t) She then brings us 3 sweet teas and sits down with us and tells us about how each recipe is from someone in her family. After we finished, she brings over 3 strawberry cobblers… it to go boxes of course… When I asked to pay, she refused to take money for«leftovers in to go boxes»…I FINALLY got her to take 20 dollars and she says«I gonna give this to the little 17 yr. old girl who works so hard in the kitchen and never complains, she has been sick and missed 3 days which she really can’t afford.» I don’t think I have ever witnessed that much kindness and unselfishness given toward me in my life. As we left, she thanked US for coming in… simply amazing. Heaven’s door I’m sure is wide open for this very kind woman… I know this is a long story but had to share it… – with Rodney Smith and Hubert Clemons
