The location is much improved from my previous post. Could be better but great job so far. I’m willing to donate to fixing/​replacing the sign out front.

This VFW is an awesome place to have a party or large event.
My childhood homie Tony had his 30^th birthday party here. Actually I’ve been to many events over the last 2 decades because Tony’s dad Tony is a member here. I think you have to be in order to reserve the place for a private party. But don’t quote me on that.
It’s actually a 2 story building. There is a huge parking lot but also additional spaces along Main St, which runs parallel behind it. There is a very large, auditorium style room, complete with a stage. There is a bar area too, so you can have drinks served during your event. For Tony’s birthday, we each paid some $ (I think like $ 15? $ 25?) and that included food and 1 drink coupon. Drinks weren’t dirt cheap per se, but they were stiff and definitely unexpensive.
Tony’s party was Hawaiian themed and the fam went all out. The food fit the theme and they also had a hula style dancing show complete with flame throwing! So feel free to hire any kind of entertainment/​catering you would like for your event here.
Downstairs is a small, dive-​y bar. It’s dark, wood paneling and, if I can recall, has some kind of nautical theme? I could be wrong about that. There are a few small tables, but for the most part people sit on stools along the long s curved bar top.
Well, I won’t ever forget this place. I have had tons of fun over here and Tony’s birthday was no exception. It’s also the night of my knee injury (read my reviews of the public health care/​no insurance life system in LA). So I’m afraid it might be always remembered as the last time I dropped it like it’s hot…
