Let’s see rest areas… I never stop at them unless it’s daytime because I saw the movies, «Rest Stop» «Rest Stop 2» and the other sequels. So I have some tips for you: I advise that you only stop at them in the daytime if you’re a lady traveling alone. Get out and stretch your legs but don’t wander off too far from where other travelers are. By all means, take a bathroom break! Do what ya gotta do and get going; you still have a long way to go(we’re talking middle of nowhere)! Enjoy the view and take a picture or two. Be safe, be street smart and get back in the car and get moving! And lock your doors!

On our way back to Atlanta from Tampa, this was an easy spot to stop at. Nothing flashy or anything state of the art happening here, but it was a great spot to stretch our legs and use the restroom. The parking was abundant and it had the type of entrance/exit where you simply pull in from the rightmost lane and then you exit at full speed for the highway. I wish all could be like that. The interior portion of the rest area was pretty dingy and wet. Nothing seemed like it gets cleaned and kind of felt like the damn wild west or something. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a few tumbleweeds blowing by in the men’s room. Still a great place to stop. Happy to have rest areas like this throughout the I-75 corridor of GA!
