Athens Pizza & Restaurant

Athens is a solid pizza shop. I’ve had pizza, calzones and subs from here and you really can’t go wrong.

Up until today this place deserved a 5 star review from me my bad for not reviewing earlier and waiting until now .
This was my new go to spot for pizza, calzones and especially salads. But I am going to have to give this place a break. I don’t know what’s going on but the quality and customer service is decreasing. First incident I ordered a chicken stir fry sub. It should have been served hot especially since i was dinning in but it was cold and stale. And tonight I called to place an order for a broccoli and chicken calzone and was told they can not make it. I asked the worker if she was sure multiple times and she said yes only on pizzas without even checking with anyone. I know she was wrong because I’ve had this calzone multiple times and on the menu it states you can create your own. I don’t know what’s going on here with the staff but I am not going to come back a 3^rd time to be disappointed and waste more money. I’ll give it a few months to get back on track.

Just finished eating a couple pieces of pizza from our first time at Athens pizza and I got to say… Yum. The pizza is delicious. I got half meatball, half pepperoni with spinach all over and I’m one happy lady. My boyfriend got a buffalo chicken calzone and it looks delicious.
The prices are very reasonable– cheaper than most average pizza places.
Also, if you decide to eat in, you don’t have to worry about a personality lacking, small pizza place. It’s very spacious and the décor is very tasteful and warm. We got our food to go but definitely wouldn’t have minded staying in for a bite.
I definitely recommend everyone trying this pizza place. This is our new go to!

Good subs hade a steak combo and the meatball sub is good also. prices are good .they have 2 location in leominster. .try them out.

Waited over a half hour for a cold sub and a slice of cheese pizza… I’ll never go back

I don’t like to post bad thing but watch take my pizza out the oven it was burned they made me new one was not told why it took so long

My favorite pizza shop. Greek pizza at it’s best. Good subs and wraps and I love their Greek salads. I find their pasta dishes to be just mediocre but overall I would recommend Athens Pizza.

A gemstone of a greek-​owned pizza shop. You get exactly what you expect. Mediocre service. Glorious, molten, greasy greek-​style pizza. Really killer greek salads, and awesome gyros & souvlaki. Love this place. It’s cheap and great.

Stopped here a few times recently, for an onion pizza, which your pretty basic average pizza. Nothing special. Eggplant parm sub was decent, as well as the jalapeño poppers. This is your average run of the mill pizza joint. Decent food, cheap, large enough to sit down and have lunch, and fairly clean.

I work in the area and my co-​workers and I are always looking for salads. Athens is by far the BEST ones we have had. Fresh greens, fresh vegetables, homemade croutons. The grilled chicken is perfect! I think their Caesar dressing might be homemade? Everywhere I go for a salad, it comes with pita. Athens gives you this incredible pita that has to be homemade it’s crispy but soft and crewing and covered in the best seasoned cheeses. Delivery is very quick. Prices are on point too. After the second time ordering, I highly recommend!

People are really rude and pizza is just okay. Had to get a lot of grease off it before we ate. Won’t be going there again.

I can vouch for the pizza. Really good Greek style pizza. Haven’t tried anything else, but I plan to. One thing I wish they’d improve on is the pick up process. They do a lot of dine-​in business and every time I’ve been here to pick up a phone order, I’ve had to wait five minutes because there’s a family of five in front of me placing an order and trying to figure out what little Timmy wants for dinner while I watch my pizza get cold!

Food is ok and fresh. Most staff are friendly, but some of them can be rude at a times. And the price, well is kind of pricy.

Great local pizza place. Pizza is tasty and inexpensive.
Chicken parm dinner is an actual chicken cutlet, not a fried chicken patties like a lot of pizza places do it.
If you want to eat in, they have beer on tap, and a TV on one side, and quiet dining on the other.

THE BEST spinach pie in the area. Always friendly service. Very reasonably priced.

Our family’s go-​to place for take-​out, especially the pizza. The owner (Mike) always recognizes us and goes out of his way to be friendly to my son, which I think is really nice.
Very good selection of drinks, too.
I am rating Athens as «cheap» because most items are under $ 10. Large pizzas start at $ 11.

The owners are terrific here & genuinely interested in how the clientele enjoy their food. The pizza is terrific & the Greek Salad is not to be missed! I’ve traveled internationally for months at a time & EVERY time I get back, Athens’ pizza is the first thing I want to eat in the States! There’s something so homey, delicious and terrific about it! You will not regret a stop here. I’m salivating just thinking about it…

I grew up in Leominster and Athens is by far my favorite place in the city for Pizza. I can’t tell you what it is exactly that makes the pizza so good, but something about it just separates it from other pizza places in the area. The sauce is good, a little bit sweet but not too sweet at the same time, and the cheese and crust are just as tasty. Although I love the pizza, the thing that always keeps me coming back to Athens are the calzones. The best calzone I’ve had hands down. The ricotta in the cheese mixture makes a world of difference. Also if you are in the mood for a sandwich you can’t go wrong with the chicken parm sub. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because once and a while the service can be a little slow, but usually they are pretty good about getting you you’re food relatively quickly

Absolutely the Best Pizza in the area! Delicious grinders that are actually loaded with whatever you order (not just a lot of bread and a couple slices of meat!) The salds are large and very fresh. The restaurant is spotless, the service is fast and friendly. Try one of the Italian dishes with their sauce or even buy a jar to take home. It’s rich and slightly sweet. LOVE IT! They also do great platters and dishes for entertaining… I’ve used them for several parties and always get compliments from my guests!
