Comeketo

My second time. I’ll stay with 4 stars but 5 was on the table. I save the 5 stars for very special places. This is my second time. The croquettes an over the top good. One is cassava and ground beef. The sticky cassava deep fried is to die for. I had a variety of dishes so far and some were good some were great. The burgers are kinda small in the bun but they are made to load up. Go for the ones with egg, ham and bacon and kielbasa. I don’t think it would be over the top. The rest you just have to try and see where it takes you. You can’t go wrong.

lunch recently, this site has been several different restaurants in my longish memory, nice place, limited beer and wine selection and some mixed drinks following a Brazilian theme, food was good, i had the x bomb burger, very different and very good, wife had the grilled veggies which were good, service was very pleasant and it was pretty inexpensive which is very nice.

I left this review on their old page, but wanted to make sure it transferred to their new one. I still love Comeketo, and continue to patronize them as often as I can! Since they moved to their new location, they’ve added a really friendly staff of waiters and hostesses (and likely cooks).

Comeketo is great. The food is delicious and made fresh to order, and the staff is extremely nice. The woman we normally see there (I assume she owns or at least manages the place?) is the cook/​waitress, and she always makes sure that we’re enjoying what we ordered. If you try this place, don’t walk away without trying the fried plantains — mmm!
My only wish for this place is that they have more vegetarian options, but then again, as I’m not cultured in Brazilian food, I’m not sure what else they could do. The options they do have are great, and they do offer a veggie burger, so I’m able to try the different varieties of burger they serve. Also, even though the food is fried, isn’t never too greasy. I think when I ordered the dish that has collards there might have been a bit too much butter, but I’m not complaining. Even so, that’s hardly worth complaining about.
Definitely give Comeketo a try. Not only are they a fantastic restaurant, they’re also a local business — and one worth supporting!

I fell in love with their piña colada it was sooo good! I ordered 2 empanadas and my husband ordered a X-​bacon burger! And some cheese fries… everything was delicious and our waitress was awesome! We will defenetly be returning for more!

This place is fantastic. I would recommend the x burger. The potato sticks are a nice touch in the burger.

Overall, the food was very good. The fries were outstanding. My husband loved his meal and my burger was very good. However, for a place that seemed to actively welcome children (we went on a kids karaōke night and children’s meals were free), there were a few things sorely lacking, particularly for younger kids:
1) No changing table at all! We ended up going back out to the car for diaper changes.
2) Kids menu had a puzzle and maze but we weren’t given any crayons
3) Kids menu options — I get that kids are picky eaters and it is great to have some standard grilled cheese/​chicken finger options for them. However, we try to steer our child clear of these. It is normally healthier and keeps his palate expanded. The ONLY option that was at all Brazilian was rice and beans, served with french fries. We ordered with no fries. My 2 year old devoured the beans (the rice wasn’t interesting for him) and then wanted more. I’d like to see kids options that include a turnover or croquette with beans.
4) Kids cups — My son’s drink was served in a full sized cup, which was just too tall for him to manuver given his height at the table. We eventually located a smaller glass which worked much better

I loved my experience at Comeketo, our waitress was awesome and our food came out in less than five minutes. I ordered a montevideo wrap with fries and a tropical smoothie, we also split a chicken and cheese empanada, and my partner ordered a steak wrap. The empanada had cream cheese in it which I wasn’t expecting but was so pleasantly surprised about. I loved my montevideo wrap, there was some kind of dressing drizzled in it that gave such an excellent flavor, it was probably the most satisfying wrap sandwich I’ve ever had. I could tell my fruit smoothie was made entirely of real fruit too. I will definitely come back and recommend to others. Also, noticed the owner post something saying kids eat free at Comeketo on some nights and honestly that is the greatest thing ever, you never see businesses do that anymore nowadays, you rock! A real blessing to the community.

This place was awesome! Nice, friendly staff, excellent food, and very reasonably priced! This is a hidden gem for those who want great food with an authentic Brazilian flair!

Great place, awesome atmosphere and their acai bowl is the best thing ever! Also the burgers are great. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed at all.

Fantastic place to sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal Brazilian style! The service is great along with a very clean restaurant. We enjoy going to eat there very often.

Great food, great atmosphere and awesome staff. I tried quite a few of the croquets, they were all flavorful and delicious. I’ll will definitely be back soon.

This past weekend was our first time at this new location. We been to the old location a few times and always had a great experience. The food is still amazing and the restaurant has improved a lot! Bigger, well decorated and now offer entertainment at certain nights ! They continue to impress us. Customer service is top notch. My favorite dish is definitely the picanha! Juices are all natural and delicious! If u like dessert u can’t go wrong with the acai bowl! My husband loves the fact that they now serve alcohol and he loved the Brazilian beer they had! Overall a great restaurant with delicious food and friendly customer service! A++

Greeted by the owner who knows most his customers first name. I can’t remember the last time our family of 5 all had nothing but good to say about a restaurant meal. Fresh, authentic, a hidden jewel. We will be back, and often!

Nice family style atmosphere. Waitress was nice. The table setting were not welled cleaned. They serve alcohol, that’s a plus in my book lol. Food takes about 20 minutes to come out after ordering (average), the food was good! I’d definitely give it another try in the future.

This was the best I had taken the x-​elephant challenge it was the best that’s all I can say. you have to try this place out
