Hair in the food? Definitely doesn’t belong to anyone at the table. Keep the check, we lost our appetite.

Had the country fried steak and eggs over medium. Everything is under done. Eggs had runny whites, hash browns had no brown at all, the steak was under cooked. And even the wheat toast seemed to have been rushed through the toaster which is strange because the place is empty and they were not in a hurry at all. 7 am and it took 10 minutes to get coffee to the table.

We were famished, decided to hit Dennys because we were passing by. The burger was jucy and onion rings were the perfect level of crispy. Service was very quick, which is exactly what we needed.

Worst breakfast«food» ever! Everything tasted like cardboard; in fact cardboard would have tasted better! Never, never eat here! Would give it less than 1 star if possible!

The worse time ever it took 45 minutes to get our food. No one came to apologize. 1st and last time I eat here. Not happy and we were not the only ones waiting for food. So why they are running behind ??

The food and service is on par with any other Denny’s, but the late night people-watching opportunities are second to none.

Haven’t eaten at a Denny’s in over a decade but I was out voted. Basic breakfast fair with original slam and many varieties of it including make-your-own. Place was busy and plenty of waitresses avail and moved customers along well without rushing. Took average time to place order and get food. Decent food — had two buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheddar, hash browns and sausage(which was the only item that was dry). Place was clean. Just ‘ok’. I would recommend looking little harder for better place.

It took a lot for me to give this restaurant 2 stars. But that’s only because admittedly the food and prices were decent. If only the restaurant wasn’t so disgusting. I averted my eyes during my entire meal just to avoid looking at the dirty tables, gross looking floors, dirty counters… it helped… until I received a cup of hot water. I took photos because it was simply unbelievable. There was dried food stuck to the inside of the handle and the cup looked like someone used it to scoop garbage. My friend joked that it looked like the same cup they’ve had since the 60s. I couldn’t help but wonder how my food was prepared with so much filth around. Our waitress was OK. I dealt with everything but now that I know what to expect I will NEVER eat there again. Hey Denny’s clean your dirty restaurant. It totally overshadows anything positive about your customer’s experience.

Upon entering, the vestibule had a strange smell my daughter commented on. It was a Sunday afternoon, so I’m thinking they might have had a busy day. First impression, it was dirty. The floor was dirty, the trash behind the counter was completely full and trash was spilling out on the floor. The entry door was covered in dirty handprints. We were greeted promptly and seated. Upon being seated, I noticed the rug was dirty and worn out in several spots. An inspection of the bathrooms showed they too were filthy. The table was wiped down properly, but the menu was just the opposite, a sticky mess. As for the food, it’s standard American fare. It was average at best. The service was good. The food came on-time and was hot as expected. If you’re looking for something more than chain truck stop food, you won’t find it here. What you will find is a slice of America.

I had the tilapia with rice and steamed broccoli. The tilapia and rice was good. I did find the menu limited of a variety. Not a location for me.

Need 2 separate ratings. One for the food & one for the service. I used to work in a Denny’s back in the ‘80s & remember the extensive week long training I got. One thing I remember is that a customer should be greeted within 10 seconds of entering. Over the yrs, I guess they stopped the training, because the service here is lousy. Every time I’ve come, there are a couple of waitresses milling around & they walk right by you without ever acknowledging your existence. A couple of times, I think the manager has waited on me(older female) & she is slow as molasses. It’s difficult to tell them apart since they all function at the same speed with the same disinterest. The food is still good & varied, but someone train these people! They lack any enthusiasm for their work or the customers they interact with. Food rating: 4 stars Service rating: –5

Really disappointed and did not meet expectations at all. Came here because there wasn’t really anything else for breakfast in the area and was craving some eggs. The waitress couldn’t get my order correct, but I’m sure that was just a mistake so I won’t harp too much on that. Besides that, the service was terrible. Never once did a waitress check on us or refill waters. The food took quite a while to arrive so one would think they would be at least of decent quality… Nope. I ordered the ultimate omelette and wow was that name misleading. I don’t understand how any food establishment can mess up an omelette so badly. It looked like one of those plastic models of food. On top of that, it tasted terrible too. Probably the worst omelette I’ve ever had at a restaurant. But hey, maybe it was just their omelette that’s bad. Doubtful though. Overall, terrible service and terrible food. Not sure why they are even here if they fail at the two most important things in the restaurant industry. The staff was quite rude as well. I gave a 15% tip which I felt was pretty generous given the overall experience. Waitress gave me a dirty look and did not say anything upon leaving. Still boggles the mind how people feel entitled to a big tip even though their service was beyond awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are starving and craving Denny’s for whatever reason.

Very poor experience. Half of my turkey melt sandwich didn’t have any turkey, while the other side had a couple of paper thin slices. A far cry from the menu description.

This restaurant is miserable. Today it took us almost 45 minutes to be served and when the food arrived it was stone cold and the order was wrong. The plates were dirty and the coffee was served without sugar. When we asked for it, we were given handfuls of sugar packets that were wet and congealed. The waitstaff were disgusting and had questionable hygienic habits(we over heard the waitstaff’s conversations behind us.). When we brought these issues to the manager’s attention, he offered little more than an apology. $ 40 well spent.

Pleasant staff for late night meal. Burgers, sandwiches, steak and fresh veggies, breakfast, milkshakes, more and more. It’s worth the stop. I left full and looking to come back again when I need something late and decent.

My better half and I have been here on a regular basis for the past year or so. As other reviewers have said, it’s Denny’s — I’m not expecting(or quite frankly, wanting) a gourmet dining experience. What I want for Denny’s is good food, good value, and competent service. Generally, this location provides all 3. I’m a complete sucker for Denny’s burgers — huge and made just how you want them. The wife craves the broccoli cheese soup. Pancakes are great, and breakfast items in general are the other star of the show at this place. I will say this on service — we generally go in the evenings on Saturday, but have also been there early afternoon on Saturday and Sunday. The service is ALWAYS better in the evenings, regardless of the size of the crowd. Not sure how that’s possible, but that’s the case here without a doubt. Sum total — good food, great value. I’m down with Denny’s.

It’s a Denny’s, so it’s never really gonna hit 5 star, but overall these guys did great. We caught them with a mixed group of kids and parents, and came in while I believe they were switching shifts, but our server(Cassidy) did a great job of picking things up and was efficient, quick and friendly. Would hit here again if we’re in the area. Food was good, prices were as per Denny’s and the kids enjoyed, so a win for all.

When you go to Denny’s, you have to be in the right mind-set for the food you’re going to get. It’s not gourmet, it’s inventive, it’s just above fast food but the lure to Denny’s for us is that you can get breakfast at any time day or night. I’m not a huge breakfast fan but my partner is so we keep Denny’s in our list of regular places when we get up too late to make it to a diner for breakfast or when coming home after a late night out. My staple is at Denny’s is the nachos. I usually get the half order since there’s so much topping on them that the full order gets soggy before you get half-way through. They’re just sloppy and yummy with cheese sauce, onions, tomatoes, taco meat and big dollop of sour cream. I love them and crave them every so often that it’s become my favorite thing there. I did recently try one of their promotions which was macadamia nut pancakes topped with coconut cream and grilled pineapple. Damn good. I was shocked at how good it was good. It came with two eggs and bacon. It was a nice change to plain olé pancakes. I truly enjoyed it. I often like to try the various pancake puppies that they have. I didn’t like the blueberry ones they had but the white chocolate chip were fantastic. I still need to try the pineapple coconut that they currently have(if I haven’t missed them). My partner usually gets the«Moons over my hammy» which is a sandwich of scrambled eggs, cheese and ham. Get it with a side of fries and it’s quite good. What I’ve found interesting is that at this particular Denny’s, you can get a half order. I’ve tried that at other Denny’s and they won’t do it. A half of the sandwich is just a perfect size. And you can’t beat the location right off of Rt 2. Easy on and off.

My husband and I found ourselves at Denny’s last night. I had pancakes on the brain, and we were nearby, so it was the natural choice. This particular Denny’s is tucked away in the Whitney Field Mall plaza next to the Motel 6. We requested a booth and were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty clean, a few tables not bussed, a few bits of this-and-that on the floor, but overall well kept. I ended up getting the Grand Slam with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, grits, and a biscuit for 6 bucks. My husband got the Lumberjack Slam which had 2 eggs, toast, ham, sausage, bacon and hash browns for 9 bucks. The food is pretty good, cheap, and you get a lot. The pancakes were probably the best out of everything — very moist, thick, and delicious(and quelled my pancake craving… for now). Grits were ok, kind of out-of-the-box tasting. Everything else was good, no complaints. Service, though friendly, seemed slow for the amount of patrons there(the place wasn’t packed or anything). We waited at least a half hour for our food, which seems like a long time for breakfast. But at the same time, we weren’t in a hurry, so it wasn’t too big a deal. Denny’s often gets a bad rap, and while it’s not outstanding by any means, you can get consistently decent food(and a lot of it) and not break the bank. And besides, there’s not a whole lot of places you can get breakfast at night!
