Life Care Center of Leominster

I have been here many many many times in my life time to see dying relatives. Not an exciting place to visit. My great grandma (I call her Nonni) has been there for the past maybe I don’t even know it has to be almost 10 years now and as soon as I came back to Worcester from California I went to go visit her. I try to see her whenever I can and every single time this place just smells like death and despair. I feel like they don’t even clean this place and everyone is just sitting around in their own shit. You can literally smell the death in the place. It’s even worse when someone actually died and you walk right past the room while the orderly is «cleaning up». It’s literally vomit inducing and heart breaking to be in there because it’s just sad that this is what happens to people when they get old. The beds are really small and uncomfortable too, and the nurses are kind of snarky. Anyone that sends their loved one there is kind of an asshat. You’re better off keeping them home with you in their final days and I wish I could take care of my Nonni but I’m only 22 and she has severe dementia but I hate to see her in there.
