Who knew such a gem was hidden in Leominster?! Truly a find! Went for the first time to get a juice — it was packed with people having lunch. They had amazing looking salads and sandwiches, as well as a smoothie menu, and I have to say my juice was exceptionally good. They also offer add in shot options for the juices like wheat grass, blue algae, etc. Don’t miss their fabulous grocery store in the back carrying all kinds of natural foods, beauty products and home/kitchen accessories. Such a great place — check it out!

They have a store as well as a restaurant. The store also carries vegan cheese(like Miyoko’s cheeses) and organic veggies, so great options. The restaurant has a few dishes that are vegan and a lot of the other dishes can be made Vegan.

I know health markets are expensive and all, but I hardly doubt it’s $$$$. I just had a smoothie which was $ 8, but it was also my lunch. Their sandwich and smoothies are in the $ range. The service was excellent and friendly. They let me try 3 or 4 samples, offering the bottom of the blender, which led me to swap my decision to Sweet Green. I felt pumped for the rest of the day and surprisingly full.(I’ve never been the smoothie-a-meal kind of person, but considering their interesting blends of flavors and protein included, I thought I’d try it!) In the back they have their market which is cute! I didn’t check out the price tag though. On nice days, they set up outdoor seating in the front in the parking lot. It’s a nice atmosphere inside, it reminds me of new york. :)

Stopped in for lunch, tried the Reuben sandwich. Not a traditional Reuben but possibly the best sandwich I have had in years! All fresh and we’ll prepared ingredients. This will be a new«must stop» when I’m in the area!

Always love coming here. Kombucha on tap, great smoothies and love seasonal choices. Disappointed there isn’t an espresso bar, but glad they expanded. The quinoa bowl is awesome, love(and hate) that they have so many goodies to choose from at the counter of the kitchen and so many different chocolate choices in the store! Staff is usually friendly. Outdoor seating available.

I’ve been wanting to love this place for a long time, but even after shopping here sporadically over the years, the love still hasn’t blossomed. While I love the products Roots carries, their prices are much higher than anywhere else in the area and one must endure the strange vibe given off by the owner and employees — as if the customer’s presence is a nuisance or an unwelcome interruption to a private party. The staff have been helpful on the occasions I’ve asked for assistance, but there still is a palpable undercurrent of something unwelcoming about the place, like a scowl on an otherwise pretty face. I now only go here as a last resort or out of convenience rather than ordering online or driving a little farther. From what I’ve observed, the owner’s affect and attitude appear to have been absorbed by the staff. A small, positive attitude adjustment would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.

Love Roots! Recently went in just to check it out… Silly me I had to grab a carriage. I got all my groceries done, and the prices are great! There’s so many unique items and hard to find products here, including a refillable olive oil and balsamic station, Kombucha on tap with refillable growlers, salt and sugar scrubs in bulk, and even a juice bar! I am Very impressed with Roots and will definitely be back!

Roots is great! They always have the unique ingredients, specialty food, personal care and health items that I am looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the hours– they close early most days, and are only open until 7 later in the week. This doesn’t work so well for working folks… I think they’d get more business if they were open til 7 every weeknight. Other than that– they’re awesome.

Small store, but very well stocked. I came there for a few items that are just not sold in the big chain grocery stores and they had them. The staff are also very helpful and pleasant.

I. LOVE. ROOTS. I started going to roots a few years ago, after begin diagnosed with Celiacs Disease, and they have been insanely helpful in helping me find all sorts of gluten free foods. They always have friendly service, and are willing to help you find local businesses in the area for you to explore. My boyfriend, who is a vegetarian, is also a huge fan of roots. We enjoy attending their festival they throw every summer. I hope more people will go and check out the store because it’s just fantastic!

Roots is a great store with friendly staff. They have a good selection of gluten free items that can be hard to find in this area. They also have a nice selection of bulk spices and grains. Of course they carry many vitamin supplements as well as personal care items and aroma therapy supplies. I am thankful that they are here especially since the nearest Whole Foods is an hour away.
