Bamboo Lotus Massage and Bodywork

Bamboo Lotus Massage is an adorable little hide-​a-​way spa near the beach. I stepped into her studio and felt like I was on vacation. Shasta is well versed with her knowledge of essential oils as well as her talent with massage and healing the body is a recipe for intoxication. I highly recommend Shasta, her healing hands are exactly what you need for injuries or just rejuvenation.

Shasta is amazing. I was looking for someone who combines ART and Massage and I found her. She did an amazing job, worked out all of the knots in my back & legs and spent a little extra time on me (much appreciated!). I highly recommend her for any body work you need done. Her space is very clean and calming… I didn’t really want to leave:) Anyways I will be back, thank you shasta!

The awareness, intuition and skill Shasta has is indicative of a very talented and experienced massage practitioner. Her massage techniques are both therapeutic and relaxing, which is a rare combination for me. I’m either writhing in pain at a reflexology place for the sake of getting therapeutic relief or I’m annoyed by the overpriced spa that is rubbing lotion on me for an hour. She has the soothing, rhythmic strokes but there is therapeutic value and strength with everything she does.
Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

Best Massage ever! Relaxing and healing. Shasta truly is gifted, she was able to find the source of my soreness and fix that tight spot between my shoulders that never seemed to go away. Her training in different types of massage is nice because she can change her style according to what my body needs. Her studio is conveniently located and a relaxing space. I highly recommend get your next massage at Bamboo Lotus, best massage I’ve had in the state!

Shasta genuinely cares for her clients. After finding her on Unilocal,thought I’d give her a try since I had lower back pain from sports injury and carpal tunnel. Have to say, after 5 sessions of ART/​message with her plus the exercise she asked me to do, I’m 80% better already. She has a pair of healing hands.

Just moved to San Diego and had Great experience here. I get massages weekly and Shasta is definitely up there with the best I have received. Very clean chill spot which is always a must for me. Went in with a sore neck and a headache but came out feeling like a new man. Will def be back.

For the past six months, Shasta has consistently given me massages that have successfully alleviated the chronic pain I have been enduring from cervical degenerative disc disease. In addition to massages, Shasta provides a very common sense approach for how to improve muscle flexibility and reduce «flare-​ups» that can occur after exercise or strenuous activity. I credit Shasta for helping me eliminate my need to take anti-​inflammatory drugs, like Advil, on a daily basis, in order to treat my chronic neck pain.

I found Shasta several years ago through a Living Social deal. I now see her on a regular basis every 2 – 3 weeks. She is a true body practitioner. She listens to your body and finds the tension points to work them out. I am always looking forward to my next appointment.

Shasta is an amazing massage therapist and healer. She has many different certifications including aroma therapy. She is a skilled healer. Her space is beautiful with easy parking. I have been going to Shasta for 2 years. As a runner, biker and tennis player visiting Shasta has healed my injuries and kept me active.

I’m a fan of massages, and have used the services of several over the years. Shasta is far and away the best. She’s been helpful in relieving tight muscles in my ankle, knee, and back. She has a nice business location, with ample parking. I live in P.B., and the long drive (for me) is unimportant. And her sessions are reasonably priced. All in all, an excellent experience.

Prepare to be Shasta’tized! I was referred to Shasta through a few CrossFit buddies of mine who see her regularly. Now she works on me regularly as well. And I look forward to each and every session with Shasta because she listens to exactly what your body needs and seems to have magical powers to help release tension, rehab and heal whatever issue your body is going through!

Shasta really knows how to sooth your body and soul through massage and various other therapies. Every session with Shasta has left me relaxed, energized, sometimes even a bit light headed, and always feeling better physically as well as mentally.
Her location, a bit cramped with no real waiting room but is far more personalized than her last location with parking hit and miss. But once the door closes and you lay down, nothing about her new location matters.
Shasta’s prices are extremely reasonable for the time allotment and, shhhh, under-​priced for the quality of the services she is capable of providing!
My only complaint, Shasta is always booked so last minute appointments, even a week out, can be difficult at best. But then that is a reflection of the demand for her services…

Ok… this is no joke… She’s literally the BEST massage therapist I have ever had! I’ve used massage envy, high end spas and friends over the past 15 years. I have a bad back problem and lots of tightness. Shasta focuses on the muscle groups and gives the right touch which is not the fluffy kind which does nothing for me. I have referred her to all my friends and they all say the same thing about her which is «OMG that was the best ever!». So if you’re reading this review, I highly recommend her and you’re missing out if you don’t choose her over another massage girl.

Absolutely fabulous! Got a lymphatic drain today; feeling rejuvenated. Going back for a much needed massage in two weeks. Shasta is great & fairly priced — a must try!
UPDATE: still feeling awesome & full of energy; if I would have known I was going to get these results I would have done this a lot sooner! LDM is very subtle, you may not think it will work, but it def does!
