What a charming garden store! I live right down the street from Glorious Gardens and have witnessed a complete transformation of a little corner lot to one of Leucadia’s hidden gems. It has just the right balance of color and quirkiness to fit into it’s eclectic neighborhood.
This playful area showcases chic garden couture in a natural setting. I feel like I am stepping into a well manicured garden, everything is set up with great flow and vision. Glorious Gardens is a great source of outdoor inspiration so that you can transform a plain yard into an impressive outdoor living space. This location previously was vacant, then an independent produce store, and it finally has matured. Let’s keep Leucadia Funky with Glorious Gardens.

We found Glorious Gardens at a time when we needed a reliable and professional landscape company to come in and help us finish a project that another local company mismanaged and did not install properly. We were so delighted when we first spoke with Linda on the phone. She was so pleasant and professional. She was compassionate to our frustrations with a prior contractor, and quickly put our minds at ease that she could finish the job the way it was intended to be finished.
We met with Linda and did a very thorough walkthrough of the job. She was incredibly detail oriented when going over all the items to be installed, repaired, removed, etc. She followed up with us quickly with an estimate on cost which was very reasonable.
Work started not long after our estimate was signed. While I was not home when Linda and Emma worked on our project, I had more than one neighbor comment (at a later time) on how hard they were working. One neighbor mentioned that they worked non-​stop and were incredibly thorough in the excavation of one particular area that had given us trouble due to some old, root issues. We were so thrilled to pull up to our home and see that our project had been completed. Not only was it complete but it had been accomplished in a very professional manner, and on time.
We are so grateful to have found Linda and Emma and look forward to starting another project with them later this year.
If you are looking for down to earth, reliable, professional individuals in the landscape industry, Linda and Emma are exactly that and we would highly recommend them to our family and friends.

Linda and Emma are GREAT!!! They installed all the landscape on a half acre lot, in a new home!!! Our yard is not only water wise but simply beautiful. They are knowledgeable in not only the plant selection, but in all areas of yard installation, sprinklers, lighting, rocks and boulders. The artistic placement of all things really makes a huge difference in the final result. Linda and Emma really listen and then make a vision a reality!!! Would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!

Glorious Gardens re-​landscaped my front and back yards by removing the lawn and replacing the yards and border areas with drought tolerant plants, a project I had been procrastinating as I couldn’t imagine a house without a lawn, Midwesterner that I am. Yes, we are really into lawns.
Owner/​designer Emma Almendarez and her contractor Linda Fox made a miraculous transformation of the property. Emma’s artistic design and plant selections created a tapestry like a painting as I look out the windows into the back yard. They created a river bed in the front and used the color palate I wanted. I could tell I was working with women as they were hard working, conscientious, focused, listened to my thoughts, wants, and dislikes and immaculately cleaned up after themselves. Above and beyond what was required, they placed an ad in Craig’s list and found another homeowner looking for plants for his yard. He came over and picked up my old plants and bushes that still had lots of life left in them.
At one month, they came back to the residence to check for any problems and replaced the few plants that didn’t survive the shock of transplant. I am already saving 30−40% in my water bill every month, and should be more in the second year.

We got about 150 little succulents for wedding favors last year and the staff here really helped us in securing them within our budget and within our timeframe. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the succulents were! Now we are back and living the space. What a great local business :)

Glorious gardens is the best place to find a unique and thoughtful gift in any budget! Their shop is really cute plus they offer consultations and landscaping services. A local gem owned by two women. Check them out if you haven’t yet.

Glorious Gardens just completed re-​landscaping my backyard and did an amazing job, on-​time and reasonably priced. Linda and Emma are wonderful to work with and really listen to their clients’ needs and desires. They’re conscientious, creative, knowledgeable and make sure the end result is perfect. This is the 4^th time they’ve done an outdoor project for me, which says a lot about a business. I highly recommend them!

I think this place is a North County gem. It’s right on a busy intersection, but it’s totally cool once you are inside the fence. We started to buy succulents for the house since they are low maintenance and Glorious Gardens has a great selection. The ladies who run the place are also very nice and helpful in finding the right plant for your space, light, etc. They also have a landscaping business for people with yards. Glorious Gardens is a great little spot to pick up some plants.

If you’re looking for two great landscape designers, look no further. Emma and Linda were great to work with. They did our front and back yard, installing sprinklers, micro-​sprinklers, a water feature, and a fire pit. Most of all they transformed the yard with water wise plants. They took out our front lawn and replaced it with a much more attractive of flagstones and xeriscaping. In the back there was even more of a transformation. They came in on budget and worked the job until it was done. We would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever.

The Glorious Garden Nursery in Leucadia is a sight to behold. The girls who run it are friendly, generous, and great to buy plants from. Their landscape work is tremendous in water saving plants and terrain. I highly recommend them

This place is awesome if you’re looking for succulants. They have every succulant known to man — if they don’t they’ll find it!
They also do wonderful landscape design. They landscaped our house and turned our dry dead dirt-​filled backyard into an oasis. LOVE IT.
