I love coming here for anything other than gel tips. They do a great, reasonably priced pedicure/​manicure. A lot of options for spa pedicures, which I really like, and the salon is very clean. They use all packaged and brand new tools and line the pedicure tubs. They can’t get my tips to my liking as far as shape and thickness go, but for everything else they’re great. No one is pushy either, it’s always an easy and pleasant experience. I refer people here all the time.

This WAS my favorite nail salon, now I realize the tall man who always does my nails is just my favorite artist. I came in today with my mother to get our nails done, it being her first time here. The girl winnie that did my nails didn’t clip my cuticle’s? She didn’t fully remove my old nail polish and she used one hand to massage my back while she watched tv. I’m so disappointed, my nails look like a child did them and It’s embarrassing. Do not go to winnie, she obviously doesn’t care !

I love the SNS gel manicure that they have. I’ve been going here for about 3 ½ months now. For the most part, my nails always come out great. This time, they all started lifting which kind of made me mad because I still have another week until I should be getting them done. They usually last 14 – 16 days.

I just moved back home to NY from SC. I have a «go to» spot in Bayside but now that I’m in Hicksville, figured I needed a spot that’s local. I went to three other salons in the last two months and have not been impressed enough to go back. Then I found Angies. Conveniently open on Sundays and easy to find, I found all the staff members to be quite friendly. Another plus for me is that they use disposable nail files and buffers from a sealed package. Pedicure was thorough, shaped and flawlessly polished. The free paraffin for my heel and hot stone massage were a big plus. I normally get a shellac manicure but after hearing great things about the SNS powder dip decided this would be the salon to try it with. This is where I decided that i would make Angies my regular salon.
1. My shellac Polish was taken off using cotton and foil. I don’t like when my entire hand is submerged in acetone or people take a drill to my nails.
2. They had a very large selection of SNS powder dip colors.
3. Great shoulder massage while my nails cure.
4. Took great care to buff out a flaw on one of my nails when he went back over to look at each hand.

Just had the most rushed manicure ever. If they were too busy they should not have taken my appointment when I called. The manicure was less than 10 min which resulted in my nails in an angular shape, Streaky polish with air bubbles everywhere. The only decent part was the massage at the end. Would not recommend this place!

I tried this on a limb. since my nail guy for 6 years is in Queens.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of work and for these great prices.
I’ll be back :)

Great nail salon. They always do add ons like hot stone leg massage and hot wax for the heels! I’m so glad I found this place since moving!

Manicure was okay, no hand soaking, they cut my cuticles dry, i personally didnt like that. Pedicure was good, lasted about 20 min. I asked for an arm wax, the girl was clueless. She couldnt understand me when told her she is doing it wrong. I usually wax myself, but sometimes its nice to get pampered. There is nothing pampering when you have a bruise, and I still had to go home and do it over, missed sections.

Came in for a quick pedicure and was very pleasantly surprised! I got a lot for my money, they were friendly, sanitary, and I got hot wax on my heels for nothing additional. She also spent extra time massaging my legs and feet, which was obviously welcomed. I’ll definitely come back.

I go here regularly for gel manicure and pedicure. Very friendly, great products, and they have a point system where you can earn free services.

Just stopped here for a cucumber spa pedicure, manicure, and eyebrows/​lip. Today is mothers day so it was crowded. I waited about 20 minutes. One girl took me and she did everything. I like the fact that they didnt bounce me from person to person. I also didnt feel rushed at all. She took her time with the pedicure and mani. The pedicure was awesome! Foot massage included and neck massage! She also did a great job with eyebrows. The price is right too-​$ 45 bucks for everything. I was with the girl for about an hour and 15 minutes. The place is super clean. Definitely recommend and will return.

I get the all natural manicure here (no gel and no uv lights) it’s mostly powder. It costs a little more than than the gel but I don’t like all those chemicals on my nails and my nails aren’t yellow once they take it off. It I also love their spa pedicures. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because like many places the turnover is high, so don’t get used to someone you really like. They are always getting the latest colors to try and the manager is really on top of things.

I am disappointed with the service. It’s only day 2 and my gel manicure is already chipping. They aren’t too friendly and they lack hospitality. I felt like a nuisance even though I was there way before closing time. Color selection is okay but nothing extravagant. Money wasted for sure. My nails are chipped and I have an extremely important meeting tomorrow!
Also they try to get you to get their «VIP» card which you have to pay $ 25 for. Huh? No thanks. Will not be returning.

Went there yesterday, the employees were so friendly and did an amazing job with my mani and pedi. This has to be the best nail salon I’ve been to so far. I would definitely recommend this for anyone.

Friendly, speedy, clean and Crazy cheap!!! That’s all you need. Really recommend this place. Needed a quick mani/​pedi while the daughter was at Laser Bounce and this totally fit the bill!

Took a trip here based on the Unilocal reviews for my first UV gel manicure. The salon was nice and clean with a wide selection of colors. I didn’t catch the name of the woman who did my nails, but she was excellent… I showed her a picture from pinterest of a floral nail design and she really took her time to recreate it!

This nail place is great. They have a wide variety of nail colors to choose from. They do acrylic tips, UV gel nails and regular mani/​pedi. They also have different packages that include massage, hot stones and aromatherapy. My nail technician today was Leo. He did a great job. He gave me a 15 mins massage, used hot stones, hot towels and different lotions and oils. He also used the gel to remove the calluses from my feet and now they look brand new. The atmosphere is very relaxing. All the nail technicians are very knowledgeable and experienced. They take their time and do not seem to rush the service. I also did my eyebrows and lips (wax) and I’m very pleased with the outcome. The place is very clean. They have parking right outside. I highly recommend this place and I will continue to go back. The prices are reasonable.
