Chipotle Mexican Grill

I really enjoy Chipotle… But…
This location is sub par
I went a few times and the staff was not up to snuff
They seemed unable to handle basic tasks like refilling the toppings and rolling a proper burrito

The new Chipotle in town. It’s now the closest one to my house. Hooray! Everyone knows what the food tastes like. The service was a bit slow, and it was obvious that the people making the orders were still new to the process. There was a manager supervising and giving direction to the new hires. It took longer than usual, but the restaurant is clean, a decent size, and the food is, of course, delicious.
The main difference I noticed is that the kitchen is more visible here than at most Chipotles, and it gives a better view of the cooks grilling up the meats. Mouth-​watering.

I am so disappointed. I really expected more from this location after waiting so long for it to open. My sister and I walked in tonight and the place was freezing. Everyone inside was eating in their coats and hats. It then took a while for someone to attend to us at the start of the assembly line. The girl who made my burrito bowl seemed a tad distracted but I think it was because she was trying to manage the place with the new staff simultaneously. The customer ahead of me noticed a piece of plastic in her bowl and the employee attempted to fish it out with a fork and the girl who was making my bowl thankfully told her to throw the tainted bowl out and make a new one. Then they had to call someone over to the register to ring me up and I waited some more. We decided to bring the food home because the restaurant was so cold and when my sister unwrapped her burrito at home she noticed that the sharpie used to mark the wrapper went through the foil right onto her burrito wrap. She was able to pick the piece out but was still upset about it. I will give this location one more chance in a few weeks and I really hope they clean up their act.

Worst portions I have ever seen at a chipotle. This one is a little closer to me than the Farmingdale store, but I will drive the extra distance to get a meal that is worth it.

Worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to by far. I get it, they’re a new location, but they could atleast have some staff that looks alive! Both burritos that I ordered were poorly made/​rolled, guac was hanging out of the side of it when I opened it at home. Also the chicken I got tasted very burnt, I do not reccomend this location at all. Take the time to go to Taco Joes up the road and enjoy a good burrito.

I am not a big Chipotle fan, perhaps I’ve only recently tried it and this being my 3^rd time overall and first time here. Having seen the construction go on, I was excited to see a close location for my burrito bowl fad.
This location is new, spacious with plenty of parking. I was greeted nicely and chose to go with the favorite, burrito bowl with black beans, shredded beef and chicken with the hot sauce, guac, cheese and sour cream. the portion was plenty and prepped quickly. I got chips to accompany it, which I have to admit the bag was less than half full if that even. no biggie…
Overall, my first was visit positive and hope to return. their liquor license is pending i believe…

Ir’s a regular Chipotle??? Haha. The space is clean and the parking lot is spacious. I got a chicken burrito and a couple of side orders of chips to go. The staff member who made mine gave good portions of everything, but he forgot to add the lettuce. He also wrapped the foil poorly so that my food was exposed to the other contents in my bag. If I was more particular about food safety, I would have been hesitant to eat it. Luckily, I have very high tolerance for germs and ate my chicken burrito happily because it was delicious.
Also, I haven’t been to Chipotle in a while but their side order chips were so small. Like not even half-​full bags of chips! I get chips anywhere else in a comparable Mexican joint, they stuff the bag full of chips. Also, the mild salsa tasted funky??? It reminded me of kimchi, kinda ferment-​y and sour.
I was really excited to find that Chipotle was finally opening a place in this town and I hope the issues I had are just first-​days kinks that will be worked out.

Very small portions, came home and they literally only have me half a burrito bowl. Do not recommend going to this location
