Enchanted Petals

I ordered flowers from their website, received an e-​mail confirmation of the order but no flowers were delivered!!!

If you’ve ever been screwed by 1−800-Flowers or ProFlowers, then you know the value in calling a local florist for direct service.
I was taking my wife to Rehoboth Beach for a weekend getaway and wanted flowers to be waiting for us when re arrived to our hotel room.
I called Enchanted Petals because of all of the high praise I found on Unilocal.Every 5 star review is right on the money. I called, spoke with Josh and described my wife’s favorite flowers and colors and asked to have it delivered to our hotel. Needless to say, the bouquet was beautiful and there it was, right in the room when my wife walked in. So happy and I wish they did business in Philly.

We’ve never experienced such an determined-​to-​please business owner in our lives! About a week ahead of time this past June, we phoned Josh about flowers for a wedding dinner with 20+ people and advised him of the bride’s favorite flower. We live 700 hundred miles away (picked his business due to its name – lucky us!), so we were just hoping for the best. Well, we got the BEST! I checked in with Josh the day we arrived in town (the day before the dinner) and discovered the flowers he had had to order (rare, of course) would be coming in the next morning at 3 am – and he planned to be at the shop to receive them! The arrangements he put together were absolutely STUNNING! Even the restaurant people were impressed!
While we were chatting at Enchanted Petals the day before the dinner, I decided I wanted a special cake reminiscent of the one my husband and I had for our casual wedding. Was it too late to get someone to make it? Of course not! Josh has all the answers! He recommended Dorman’s Bakery just down the sidewalk, so I went a few doors down and spoke with the staff there (they turned out a FABULOUS, perfect cake in perfect timing – but that’s another review).
Okay, so flowers and cake are checked off the list. Then I discovered that the restaurant had a very plainly-​printed menu from which our guests would make their selections (over the phone the restaurant manager and I had agreed on several options). I was bemoaning my disappointment to Josh the morning of the wedding and dinner. Well, «Answer Man» came to my rescue (again). He just happened to know a graphic artist who would design a menu for us, and he would get the menus to Staples for printing and laminating and back to the restaurant by 4 pm (the dinner was scheduled for 6 pm). By 2 pm, I had an email with the proposed menu (it was GORGEOUS, taking inspiration from the beach wedding). We made a small change, and the menu was off to the printer!
Sure enough, when we walked into the restaurant after the wedding, the room looked INCREDIBLE! Laminated beach-​scene menus at each table setting, three beautiful flower arrangements nicely spaced on the long table, and the cake (just as we had ordered it) on a small table in the corner.
I was SO proud and thrilled that Josh had pulled this all together for us in such a short time. Oh, and by the way, a friend had recommended a unity sand ceremony; and though I didn’t know if the bride and groom would consider it, I asked Josh about it. He turned to his computer, pulled up suggestions on containers and ceremony wording, and printed it all out for me. WOW!
The day was more than perfect, and Josh at Enchanted Petals played a HUGE part in making it so. Enchanted Petals has our HIGHEST recommendation, and we look forward to giving Josh all our business in his area (just ask – it goes beyond Sussex County!).

I called Enchanted Petals at the last minute, the day before Mother’s Day, when most other local florists had closed for the weekend and, quite honestly, it would have served me right to be left high and dry. Instead, I received exceptional service from a kind and talented staff. They went out of their way to create something my mom would like, which I so appreciated since I live far away and could not be there in person. Thank you for such a great experience!

I placed my Mother’s Day order with Enchanted Petals on the Friday before. My florist, I think his name was Josh, was absolutely fantastic. He told me exactly what he could and couldn’t do (we were working with florist’s choice because of the last minute nature of my request), but he also delivered my arrangement on Sunday. The flowers were stunning, which is the most important part. In addition, when I called a second time after figuring out my mom wasn’t going to be around, they worked out a late delivery time and left the flowers in a cool, shaded spot so they weren’t wilty when my mom got home. I’ll definitely be ordering from Enchanted Petals the next time I need flowers delivered in the Lewes/​Rehoboth area.

The customer service is amazing! Friendly, helpful, informative and patient. I have told all my friends about this place, the prices are extremely reasonable as well. I love the wide range of gifts and had a lot of cool items.
