The Med Spa

Great haircuts nice people free coffee what else could you want. Only got a bad haircut once and it wasn’t terrible. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I don’t usually complain about salons, but my experience with Med Spa has been the worst of my life.
In the span of my last two visits, my stylists butchered my hair, not remotely listening to what I was asking for (I asked for a trim and was given a pixie cut, and I was seconds away from Spock bangs!).
Her response? «Just remember, this is our first date. And while it may not be what you asked for, it looks like your hair grows fast!.» Not what you want to hear.
One hairdresser, upon hearing that my former stylist was getting married to his partner said «Oh. He’s one of THOSE.»
When I requested a new stylist for my next visit (I don’t want my hair touched by a homophobe), the new one remarked to me that «Wow! You almost have BLACK PEOPLE HAIR.»
Medspa is homophobic and racist. I certainly will not be going back, and I would caution anyone else against this establishment.
