Excellent service! We stopped in on a rainy night close to Christmas, with a headlight that needed replaced. I have a Saturn, so the front end of the car has to come off to get to the darn headlight, and it costs $$. Firestone gave me the cost right up front, had me sign off on it, and got to work. The waiting area is cozy, and if it isn’t busy, the mechanics will sit down with you and shoot the breeze. The front desk did a great job explaining a major repair to another customer, telling her the issue, showing her what happened, and helping her understand what she could do. We ended up being there past closing time, but all the employees were laid-back and got us out of there as quickly as possible, without complaint. Although I don’t head up this way often, I’ll probably stop up here when I need to get my wipers replaced. Great job, friendly service, quick work.

Normally when my tire pressure gets low, I pull into a gas station and hope it doesn’t have one of those air stations that requires a handful of quarters to operate. I know some stations rely on folks like me who don’t carry a pocket full of quarters to come into their store and buy something we don’t really need but will buy something just because we feel too embarrassed to ask them for something without doing something for them. OK, so I’m a little paranoid. Anyway, I’ve had 2 occasions when my low tire pressure light came on in my Honda. I called This Firestone store this morning and asked if they could check my tires and they said, «Sure, bring it in.» I did and it was pretty cold and windy but the man came out, looked things over, filled the tires and explained how the light functions and told me he inflated to the correct pressure and if it stayed on after driving a while to bring it in and they had a tool to reset something. Relieved, I asked how much I owed and he said, «You don’t owe me anything and if the light doesn’t go off, come back and we’ll reset the sensor for you.» Excellent customer service is sometimes hard to find these days, but I’m now a fan of this place and will direct as much of my business as I can to them;. These folks understand customer service and that is critical in my book.
