This place is amazing. Delicious made from scratch food, personal service, friendly atmosphere.

So charming! Love the atmosphere and décor of Mangia, had the potato pancakes and they were awesome! Will definitely be back for more. Also had lemon cloud dessert, and that was great, too. Fresh, homemade whipped cream on top.

A very nice place to be. Pretty laid back. If you are planning a slow day, go and enjoy!

A nice little quiet place to have breakfast at. Nice service, good pricing. I had an vege omelet and it tasted very good. The only downside is wi-​fi didn’t work very well, had a hard time to get connected and never really connected through their wi-​fi.

My go to place when I drive to Lewiston New York. After an early morning 2 hour drive from Toronto on a Saturday just to avoid traffic, this should be everyone’s go to place. Really, if you want a good breakfast, this is still the place regardless of how far you need to drive.
The pancakes are delicious, the coffee is nectar, and the hospitality is warm. This place gives me a reason to detour on any trip into New York state.

This was the first time I’ve been served green moldy toast. Came here hungry after the mighty niagara half and left really disappointed. I did feel bad for our server who had just started that day and was obviously really embarrassed.

Best brunch in Lewiston.
I have been to Mangia Cakes for brunch about 4 or 5 times now with my family and we have never been disappointed. The décor is very cute and the staff and chefs are always very friendly. My Mom’s favorite thing to order is the Healthy Muffin, while I tend to go for the eggs, toast, homefries and bacon (I can almost finish it all if I try hard enough). The coffe is excellent too.
Take the family or friends here for a brunch or lunch outing anytime. You will not be disappointed.

It’s the best breakfast spot in the area. Get the mixed eggs or the french toast — they’re perfect for a wintery Sunday morning.
I don’t understand how anyone could give this spot a bad review.

Mangia serves THE best breakfast in a 60 mile radius, hands down! We travel from San Antonio to visit family in the Buffalo area and always make the trip to eat breakfast here, plus Lewiston is a cool little town but we go just for the food at mangia. I can’t vouch for the cakes (although the pastries, pies and cakes they have on display look AMAZING!) the lunch menu sounds tasty too but we are huge fans of the completely homemade breakfasts… The omelettes are huge and completely satisfying, their bacon is maple cured thick cut and cooked to perfection, and my picky fiancé says their over easy eggs were the best he has ever had. The prices are great for the quality and portions of food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and like another review you basically are sitting in someone’s dining room as your breakfast is being prepared fresh right around the corner. Our server Margie was awesome very friendly and really paid attention to our needs, a really enjoyable place all around :)

Becky made sheet cakes for our wedding and they were absolutely delicious. We got lemon chiffon cake with fresh raspberries and whipped cream frosting. I’m glad we ordered lots of extra because people were eating seconds and some even ate thirds! Becky was very sweet and extremely helpful during the planning process and her patience knew no bounds when dealing with my extremely picky mother-​in-​law, who was calling her constantly to ask questions and make changes and requests. We also got three trays of cookies and everyone loved them as well. I can’t comment myself because by the time I got to them, all that was left was crumbs!
We also stopped by a couple of times before the wedding to try out her desserts and everything we had was delicious.

I have to completely disagree with Kelly’s review of Mangia Cakes. There is no way a grocery stores outsourced sheet cake (most made in factories weeks ahead of time) can taste better than Mangia. I think there are only two options if you found this result; (1) you unfortunately ate cake that had been sitting out for sometime, or (2) you’ve trained yourself to enjoy nasty grocery store sheet cakes.
Every year I buy my own birthday cake from Becky, and it is moist, large, beautiful, and delicious. The cakes are fully customizable, my favorite was for a bachelorette party, a bikini bottom. Very sexy ;) They allow you to choose everything about you cake. The last time I ordered I had a two layer carrot cake with butter cream frosting and a layer of caramel on the top. This is my favorite cake.
Apart from cakes, Mangia offers delicious pies, cookies, and lunch. Try an apple pie cookie. For lunch their staple is a chicken waldorf sandwich. The sandwiches are available on either white or wheat home made pitas. I think I might take the long drive up there for lunch today!
My only complaint with Mangia cakes is that some desserts sit out too long in the cooler/​shelf. They aren’t spoiled, but they lose some of their moistness and deliciousness over time.
