ive gotten sick 3x from here and the very LAST time our family went we waited an entire hour for food and had to ask for it. it came out luke warm and all our fruit cups were fuzzy an blue mold. manager always wants to comp the meal and give us a free meal card for next time. but they dnt understand. i want you to manage the restaurant and make sure there isnt old moldy food being served. not a free and terrible meal. bye bye

Terrible service for mediocre food. Told it’s a 20 minute wait to be seated; It took 40. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes just to be acknowledged and have beverage order taken. Manager was apologetic, got a 2nd waiter to help. Have the feeling our waiter is new.
Long standing plaints of Cracker Barrels, countrywide:
— Use larger facilities and give folks a few inches more elbow room; and
— Likewise in the store, either reduce the number of sales racks, or increase the size of the facility. It’s pick-​pocket haven, in there.

Great food and service! The food was up to the quality that is expected. It was extremely busy, but the service was still quick and friendly.

My husband and I went for breakfast one weekday morning. The hostess was so friendly to us that we were made to feel as though we were welcomed to the home of old friends. The waiter assigned to the table continued that homestyle treatment with warm and friendly service. Of course the food was good. Definitely will be returning soon.

This place is horrible. Poor service and they weren’t even crowded. Who runs out of mashed potatoes on a Friday night at 6:30pm? This place. Even the other customers complained to the manager. Waitress took forever to come and take our order. Was not pleasant. People who came in after us got their food at least 20 minutes before us. I will never come back to this Cracker Barrel. Although I live in Lewisville, I will drive to Grapevine with much better service. This location has forgotten their business is about Customer Service. I even sent my comments to their Corporate off because I was so disappointed and disgusted and surprise I still haven’t heard from them. So sad.

Great food. Served in less than 5 minutes. Soon as we sat down our drink order was placed. Typical Cracker Barrel atmosphere. They are crowded and I understand the need to seat people but need to do a better job about cleaning and sweeping the floor. Overall I give it four stars besides they serve turkey products and that makes me happy because I don’t eat pork!

Boring food chain… But the pecan or blackberry dessert was da bomb.
The staff was a few retired librarians mixed with an Elvis impersonator…
My advice: walk past the boring staff, order pecan desert, buy some retro candy, then get out before they explain the Dewey decimal system to you.

CHICKEN AND DUMPINGS! Their cornbread has some secret ingredient in it too tha makes it addicting. So do their carrots. It’s probably stuff I could recreate at home but this is much easier. Did I mention I love their Chicken and Dumplings?

Good food. slow service but friendly … I guess it all weighs itself out. If you’re closer to the Grapevine area then you should just go to the one by Grapevine Mills.

Great food and great service as well. This place even offers breakfast all day if you are craving any breakfast meals. Since it was lunchtime i had ordered the bacon chicken sandwhich, fries and a sweet tea apple cranberry iced tea. The food was excellent. The store is also great as well. Before i left we had purchased flavored coffee and a small barrel of fudge.
