This is basically a Christian version of Anthropologie. That’s what I kept thinking as I walked around, perusing all the items in the store. Racks and shelves boast flowing, lacy tops and skinny jeans with high price tags. Home décor with scriptures range from signs to mugs to pillows and so forth. Most of the items in the store were actually my style and taste(I spent nearly an hour walking around); unfortunately none of it was really affordable for me. I did end up buying a small sideways cross necklace that cost $ 15. Not ridiculous but a little bit high. If someone bought me a gift from here, I’d be delighted, but not sure if my wallet could tolerate. Minus a star for the prices of the clothing. I know that a portion of the profit goes towards supporting high risk children but it doesn’t specify the amount or the specific people being helped. [Ah-Ha! A quick search on their website says 1% of the profits go to an organization in Peru…] Plus, doesn’t excessive consumerism sort of go against Christian values, anyway? The store is a bit of a contradiction. At least they’re trying to spread a message.

Great selection of items… real feel-good vibe in the store. Good prices. Love the Kentucky items… different and cute!
