The chicken teriyaki may have been the best I’ve ever had anywhere. There were a few problems for other customers while we were there, but they were resolved quickly and seemed worth the wait.
The next time I’m visiting Lexington, I’ll be sure to stop by again.

Small little sushi place tucked away in the same plaza as First Watch and Buffalo Wild Wings. This place offers a small menu with sushi and hibachi. There are a few seats inside, but I usually order take out. There aren’t many rolls to choose from, but they are quite delicious. They have the simple rolls and a handful of specialty rolls. Price is pretty decent compared to other restaurants. The employees are super friendly.

This is family owned and run shop that reminds me of my time in Japan. Fast casual with fresh made ingredients — and always kind to their customers.
This is THE BEST DEAL in town on sushi. Luscious thick melt in your mouth cuts of salmon and tuna at a convenient price.
In the winter they make amazing traditional ramen. Rotating special rolls make each visit unique. It’s worth a stop in for lunch or dinner but be prepared — it’s popular!

I have been looking for a good sushi place in Lexington, so when I saw that there was one right by my house I was really excited. The sushi is okay for the price but definitely lacked flavor. There weren’t any specialty roll options like you would find at a hibachi restaurant. The employees were extremely friendly though, and that is why I am giving them three stars.

Pretty decent sushi place. I have gotten take-​out sushi and hibachi from here several times. The kaos and volcano rolls were my favorite. The hibachi is your choice of chicken, beef, or shrimp. I have only tried chicken. It is tasty and cheap but it’s mostly rice. You get a standard to-​go box that is filled with rice, and the top sections of the box have a small amount of chicken, and sautéed cabbage and carrots mix.

It’s hard to review this place because I’ve had good and bad here. The first time, the sushi was good and tasted very fresh. The second time, the opposite. I’m willing to give it another try though because the prices are good and the service is friendly. They also have a sushi happy hour where all rolls are 20% off. Now that’s a deal!
