Never again! I cannot stress this enough, DONOTEATHERE! We went for breakfast/lunch on 3÷6÷16 at 9am and ordered one classic grand slam and a Club Sandwich without bread along with a Gluten Free English muffin that we would then use to make a sandwich. 35 Minutes later right when we are ready to walk out, the order comes out. Getting ready to dig in, we look at the English Muffin and there is green/black MOLD growing on the top! This is on the top of a freshly grilled muffin.(I use the term ‘freshly’ with caution!) Come on, how does the cook guy not see that! We walked out. Never again!

It’s Denny’s… The kind of place you go after you spend too much time figuring out where to go and everyone else is now closed. Not a bad place to go to be with friends after drinking.

The wait staff were polite and professional! My coffee stayed full and we cleaned our plates:) the only complaint was the gravy was kinda thin. But our overall impression of this Denny’s was about the same as any other.

If Denny’s Corp. held a contest to determine their worst location, this place would be in the mix. Guy who seated us seemed very unprofessional. Coffee was cold. We told the waiter, and he was no help. The food(simple breakfast) took 30 minutes or more to arrive at our table. We could hear the conversations between the cook and the waitress on duty. He didn’t know the menu. Didn’t know what the Hearty breakfast sausage was… My ultimate omelet was burned and was missing ingredients. Pretty much everything was wrong! This place should be condemned.

I can’t comment on the food but was so appreciative that the greeter told us there would be a ½ wait for food because they were so busy. Because we were traveling I can appreciate great service and this was one of them. You have to appreciate honesty in a place right by the interstate.

The waitress has been rude the entire time. Eggs were black on the bottom and grits were not cooked at all. My coffee tasted like it was brewed in a dirty sock. Don’t eat here… dieting in starvation mode would be better than this mess.

How do you give a minus 5. This place sucks. Hostess sat me and took my drink order said my waitress would be right with me. After about 15 minutes a waitress that passed me three times and cleaning about all the used tables in the place came to my table, took my order. Waited. Ran out of tea, 8 minutes later hostess came by with my warm eggs, hot grits, nasty ass sausage links and cold toast and brought me more tea. Waitress asked if everything was ok twice and was prompt with the check then gone again. Think I will try Waffle House tomorrow and see if their lousy breakfast is any better with the paper thin bacon. So far Lexington you Suck.

This is the first time I’ve been to Denny’s in years. The restaurant is clean but needs to be updated with a more fresh style. The waitress was so sweet. She couldn’t get the orange juice machine to work and apologized for that. The new menu has so much to order from. It’s overwhelming a little. I passed the other thing I’ve heard of(grand slam) and it was on the first page. The cool thing is that Denny’s now offers healthier options like Turkey bacon and smoothies. My food was prepared just perfect as I’m picky how my eggs are cooked. Eunice(waitress) made sure I was out of there in ten minutes like I asked. She said that if the bill is under 25 dollars I don’t have to sign the credit card receipt. I thought that was kinda weird cause I didn’t know where to leave the tip. I ended up leaving cash since she was a great server.

The breakfast as a whole was the worst we’ve had in a while. The menu advertises Coke products but they tasted like a generic syrup had been served to save money. The pancakes were rubbery and the syrup had a very fake maple flavor. The waitress was wonderful, she was at the top of her game, friendly and helpful! Denny’s food is normally much better than this visit portrayed. We won’t stop at this one again.

Denny’s is the place we go to celebrate and done after our athletic contests and events in the greater Louisville area– this time Taylorsville State Park. I am have the All-American slam and the other party is having the Banana Pecan wheat pancakes.

Great breakfast after an all-night binge. Always have a Denver or Western Omelette. Good service, fairly clean for a 24 hour place, and the food is consistent. They tend to salt the heck out the food so you might want to ask for an easy on the salt or no-salt option. Overall, a pleasant place to go for a satisfying, filling meal. The best way to enjoy Denny’s is at 2 a.m. and drunk!

Best Feature: Fantastic food! Lower prices, too! Worst Feature: Interior could be improved So I haven’t been to a Denny’s in a few years. While in Lexington, KY this weekend, we decided to grab a quick breakfast at the nearby Denny’s restaurant close to our hotel. I must say, I’m rarely impressed by breakfast eateries, but I loved this one! Their menu was fantastic — I had a ton of selections to choose from. I fell in love with their«Build Your Own Grand Slam», as it was priced only around $ 6 or so and you could choose up to four items. The portions were fabulous — definitely getting a lot of food for your money. I love they have a healthy selection; they had various items marked with an icon representing the«healthier choice»(e.g. egg whites, granola, etc.) and I walked away wonderfully happy. The food quality itself was great, which was a surprise. I’m normally ambivalent about breakfast food at restaurants, but I must say — they did a great job! I’d ordered egg whites, turkey bacon, and wheat pancakes. They were all delicious! The only«meh» point was the interior. It wasn’t really friendly, though it obviously is a dining area. I felt it was a bit dim as far as the lighting, and it didn’t have as inviting of an ambience as I’ve seen. I was a bit hesitant walking in, and even upon leaving I felt it still had a weird look about it. They could use some remodeling, in my opinion. The service was fabulous! Our waitress was fantastic, charming our socks off, while we also had the manager and a passing waitress offer to give us refills or check up on our status. I will definitely return if I’m in the area! I loved my experience here.
