We came in with a group of 12 orders. The manager Tish acted like that 12 orders was an impossible request. We decided to order anyway. Only 2 were correct. We will never order there again.

Freakin’ unbelievable? No. Perfectly ok? Yeah, that about sums it up. The burgers are good, just nothing special. If I just had to walk here, maybe I would, but it definitely isn’t worth the parking hassle if you have to drive. I will say this though — I loved the fried pickles. Most places use a cornmeal batter, but here they are tempura fried. They should rename the restaurant Freakin’ Unbelievable Pickles. :)

Good grief, the name says it all. The burgers are freakin’ unbelievable! We were in Lexington for a weekend to tour UK, and we ate there twice because I could not freakin’ believe how good the burgers were! And the fried pickles were about the best I have ever had in my life. This is a great burger joint, and is so convenient to campus. I would be big as a house if I was an undergrad at UK. The restaurant was very attractive and clean, by the way. It shares space with a taco shop.

Second visit, totally different experience. Last visit was perfect, but this Sunday evening visit was much worse. Only a 94 on last score from health department. Strike one. The trip through line was easy enough, and the cashier was friendly and helpful. I didn’t get a drink because I was going to have a beer at the table. I sit down, no one ever comes to take our beer order. Strike 2. The burger was good, but the«Freakin’ Fries» were underwhelming. And I only had 10 — 12 fries. Very underwhelming. The place needs a good cleaning. There was no ketchup in the dispenser. I would have ordered dessert again — BUTNOONETOOKOURORDER! No one asked us about our meal, no one thanked us for coming, no one asked us to come back. So, I probably wont.

If dollar mimosas on Sundays aren’t enough to make you fall in love with this place($ 3 bloody Mary’s too!) then the burgers certainly will. You get two restaurants in one here since it shares space with Street Craves, so if he wants tacos and you want burgers, you’re all set! And if you don’t want to wait in line for counter service, sit at the bar and they’ll take care of everything. Service is excellent, prices are cheap, and you can’t beat the food!

Ate lunch here for the first time, been waiting to try it. Had the bleu cheese burger with bacon, onion straws, and balsamic. Absolutely delicious. Met the owner too, really nice guy. I’ll definitely come back!

Rating a college-corner burger joint by stars is sophistry. These places either know what they’re doing or they don’t: pass or fail. Freakin’ Unbelievable Burgers clearly deserves a passing grade for its menu, system, atmosphere and food. This happy place offers choices that are innovative but not exotic, an atmosphere that’s vibrant but not cacophonous, and prices that are fair($ 6.49 to $ 7.49 for a two-patty beef burger with a variety of toppings; grilled chicken, ground turkey or black beans can be substituted for the beef). The combination of ordering your burger at a window but having table service for the bar items works well. We ordered the Fire Burger, which starts with lettuce and tomato on the patties and adds Pepper Jack cheese, sriracha mayo, Cholula sauce, fresh jalapenos and fried onion straws. Every ingredient made its presence known. The burger was juicy and the toasted bun was just right. The fries($ 2.25) were unexpectedly fresh, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. So why only four stars when I start out arguing for pass/fail? Because I can. Only two issues here: 1. The signage is hard to find in the thicket of restaurants on Limestone Street. 2. Everything except drinks and frozen custard is fried or grilled, including the sides(they fry pickles). How about adding cole slaw or baked beans or even mac and cheese to the sides list? Would that make it less freakin’?

Super resturant, fantastic atmosphere, amazing food, and best in class service. Will drive an hour and a half from Louisville to come back just for this place!

Came in on Sunday. Place was busy so we sat at the bar and ordered a $ 1.00 Mimosa and one of the 16 craft beers on tap. Got the salmon burger and the southwest burger and both were excellent. Got the chips and guacamole. For $ 3.00 not bad, but wouldn’t get them again.

Really enjoyed my Ancho BBQ burger, and«Freakin’» fries. My date had the fried mushrooms and pickles, which he loved, and I would highly recommend. Our server was friendly and fast. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!!!
