Hot Topic is the epitome of quirky. It’s like the store version of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter — in a good way.
I have been personally impressed by all the accessories. I even said today, «if there’s one thing they have, it’s really cool accessories.» Some are Disney based, some are animé (looking at you Sailor Moon!) based, and some are just plain out creative.
I may not adhere to the edgy/​emo vibe of this store, but they have some pretty cool stuff. They have Frozen items, Spirited Away items, Once Upon a Time items, Supernatural items, Adventure Time items, and more! This is including hard to find candies another poster left a picture of. They have many items –clothing, accessories, candy, even plushes/​toy versions of stuff like a collector’s pokeball or the Rini attachable toy — that are very unique and hard to find (if you even can) outside of the store. I get my purple hair dye from here, too.
**It should be noted they have men and women’s clothing ranging from skinny jeans to shorts to (many) shirts to (plenty of) dresses.
They have a little bit of everything packed in here, and even for those who are intimidated or put off by this place, I would highly recommend perusing around! Even if the scene thing isn’t *your* thing.
