This location is in Lexington Green, and this store was one of the first tenants of that mall, many years ago. I only went here to purchase glasses for my daughter. Even though she had her eye exam completed somewhere else, she settled on buying her glasses here. I must say that she’s very picky, so she wasn’t able to pick out anything that she liked at the other place, so she shopped around. At first, the pair of glasses that she was set on were the Dolce and Gabana brand. She’s pretty much like me, if we make a big purchase, we want to think on it first. So they told her that they would put the glasses on hold for her. She actually went over the hold limit but she called and was told that they would renew the hold. But when we got there on the second day, they’d already put them back on the shelf. Not a huge deal because they hadn’t sold. But I hated them, so she went with a different pair… the pair that she settled on were Tiffany and Co. brand. So you can see the trend and I’ll confirm, LensCrafters sells a lot of name brands. The cost for the glare free glasses were around $ 500, so it’s not a discount kind of place. The fitting process was extensive, way more in depth than when I got my last pair of glasses(before my LASIK surgery) from another franchise vision wear store. The lady who assisted her was very nice and honest. She agreed with me, the first pair of glasses that my daughter had picked out were hideous. She was probably the reason that she decided on the better of the two pairs.

Service here was A-okay. I will say I tried to find some glasses at the peak of busy season, after Christmas. I came with a prescription in hand, and after visiting about 2 other areas frame shops, I was able to walk into this lenscrafters and find something that actually fit me, within about 10 mins(a modern day miracle). Having the prescription filled was another challenge, I had some pretty specific needs, which I expressed but were not fulfilled as initially promised. all in all I made 5 trips to this shop before I left with a product that was acceptable, the manager however was committed to making sure my glasses came out just like I needed, and now miraculous, I actually have glasses I can wear again. I could have used a little bit more attention to detail on the front end of this process, but indeed, they were able to make good on my purchase. With frames(list price) and polycarbonate lens(40% off), my total purchase(without insurance) was about $ 250. I would use them again in the future, but be sure to advocate for your needs.

The first(and last time) I got glasses here they were not fitted properly and dug into my ear causing a good amount of pain, not to mention digging into my nose where the pads were. When I went to have them re-adjusted the person who took care of me was in a hurry and was just trying to get me out of there as soon as she could. She did a terrible job of adjusting the fit on the glasses so I still have the same issue. Customer service is not great, «look» elsewhere for glasses.
