Great customer service and so many lovely special items to choose from.
Jewelry, pottery, bags, greeting cards! AND — if you can’t get there, they will help you choose the perfect thing and gift wrap (beautifully!) and ship.
You can’t beat that this winter!

Although I love this store, I was somewhat disappointed that they would not let me use their restroom and told me to go across the street to a local restaurant. My friend and I spent a lot of money in that store and probably would have spent a lot more had they let me use the bathroom… They may not think that this is a big thing but it certainly meant a lot to me.

I stopped in Crafty Yankee this week, while visiting friends in this area. This shop rocks! Here’s why:
–Extensive range of merchandise– not just one or two of something, but, different styles, colors, prices
–All the stuff in the store is in really good taste, no junk anywhere
–Need a card to go with? They have ‘em– funny, serious, religious, all of it.
–Well-​informed staff, who help when you need them, but don’t ‘hover’.
Want to buy exactly what you want without a hassle and wrapped in your choice of gift wrap? And still have money for lunch? This is your store.

What great customer service! I found Crafty Yankee by doing a «google» search for a hard to find jewelry line, John Medeiros. They have a terrific online site, I called into the store and spoke with Kathy (the owner) and a few other people on her team. They were all very terrific in providing understanding on exact costs, shipping dates, etc. It was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. This is how a business should be run. Kathy even included a handwritten note to me thanking me for business. Wow, that sort of customer service is a rarity today. I will be ordering other pieces from her in the future.

Going to the Crafty Yankee is always a «treat». I could shop for hours. They have so many outstanding things to choose from… and I always find more than what I need. Outstanding quality, service and selection. If I ever need a special gift — or even a small «thank you token» — the Crafty Yankee is my «go to» spot!

Lots of excellent gift ideas to purchase including a lot of local items such as art, mirrors, mugs, and many other pieces from Lexington and the Boston area. A good amount of jewelry and unique clothing items as well. Well worth a trip when you need something different. Service is excellent and they do a very nice job gift wrapping. Friendly and helpful, you will see why they have been around so long.

Great place!!! 1 stop shop to buy all my sentimental Christmas gifts for friends and family! They wrap your gifts for you too. It is a little on the pricier side but worth it.

I usually stop in here before Christmas to pick up gifts that fit the theme of «functional but unique.» Like, pretty ice cream scoops, serving pieces with interesting designs, desk supplies with personality, that kind of stuff. There’s a lot of jewelry, which I don’t pay attention to, and there is some knitted stuff too. I liked a lot of the scarves (indoor accessories and outdoor warmth) but a woman working there followed me around, busily folding and adjusting the goods. I found it really annoying so I wasn’t about to start trying on hats and scarves… She seemed too eager — give me some space lady! On the positive side, there were a lot of people working there to provide service, and some of the folks shopping were the type that like that sort of thing, but not me.
