If it’s that important to not vaccinate your children have fun waiting hours to see the doc.

Dr. Elvove is the only doctor I fully trust to care for my children. He is knowledgeable, naturally minded and fully supports natural childbirth, breast feeding and prevention. He was the doctor who delivered me as a home birth in 1978. He is not radical but he supports a parents choice to vaccinate or not or use conventional medicine or not. I have even had the caring support of Kathy over the phone regarding thrush, bottle feeding breast milk & treating clogged tear ducts. I appreciate that Dr. Elvove himself is on call to speak with 24 hours a day, in case of emergency. This should not be abused, but is extremely comforting. He has a very calm personality. I appreciate the perspective he has from working in the field for so many years. He also sells natural vitamins and supplements.

I was looking for a doctor with a more natural approach so I went here with my one year old. The appointment was ok — loved the nurse, the second doctor in the practice was ok if a bit too understated. But I’m not going back here after today. I called Dr Elvove on a Saturday afternoon after my one year old had a big tantrum after having a cold for a few days. I wasn’t worried for the first few days because I assumed a cold but when he had the very out of character tantrum I was worried enough to page the doctor. He was very brusque and disinterested when he called me back and mostly just lectured me about not calling during office hours (as a new patient I wasn’t aware they had saturday office hours, but he did not give me the benefit of the doubt). I was only calling to have him advise me as to whether or not to bring him to an urgent care but I left the call (very abruptly) feeling terrible. I’ll keep looking.
