I came to Chicago to visit family and happened upon POSE Pictures in Libertyville.
Wandering around downtown’s «Main Street» — I found myself admiring some beautiful photographs in the window of POSE.
What a cool studio space I thought as I peered inside.
Having some professional photos taken of myself has been on my mind for a while — I just never got around to making it happen.
I was welcomed into this charming studio by Kevin Banna, the photographer and creative genius behind the lens of magically creating beautiful photos of real people.
His partner Karilynne made me feel right at home as we talked about traveling around the world to various Ports of Call.
We discussed what I was looking for and arranged «the shoot». I’ve never been at ease in front of a camera — until that day.
Kevin was so easy to work with. My POSE photos are the most beautiful version of ME that I have ever had taken.
Even my wedding photos and past family portraits were never able to capture my version of me…
