Just yesterday we stayed at the Campbell house, it was a very cute set up when you walk in the door. There is good and bad things, starting with the good: Patti did our wedding plans & it was raining & she already had a backup plan of where to go instead of the gazebo(which was the original plan) we went to a beautiful house and she took plenty of pictures & she makes the bouquet. Once back at the Campbell house we cut our cake and saved the rest. After the wedding the dinner was at the road toad. Although that sounds unappealing, the food was great and there was no limit on the type of food, drinks, or desserts we wanted. Also in the room there are complimentary snacks drinks and toiletries. The following morning when breakfast was served it was pretty good. She made a granola, fresh fruit & cream bowl to start. Then for the main course it was a French toast filled sandwich looking thing, I don’t know how to explain it, but it was good. I wasn’t as filled as a normal breakfast but what I did eat was delicious. Also the room was very clean . Now for the bad: I don’t like writing bad things but for a review I should include everything. First of all there was ALOT of rules that I wasn’t expecting. I felt like I was at like a great aunts house and felt very uncomfortable. There was signs everywhere to tell you what to do, or should I say what NOT to do. There was a sign telling you how you should operate the fireplace. A sign on how to not put anything on the wooden counter. A sign to take off your shoes before walking on the hardwood floors, a sign telling you to not take the snacks, a sign telling you not to look behind a curtain. The rules were crazy ! How am I supposed to relax and enjoy myself when I’m scared to touch anything because I might be breaking a rule. In my opinion if someone is so worried about a room being touched a wrong way, maybe you shouldn’t rent it out & keep it to yourself to live in. Also the innkeeper is very vocal about her opinion and making sure you keep to the rules .At breakfast my cell phone was on the table and she took it away and put it on the counter. I did not like that. Overall: The place was well worth the money, would go back. The way the wedding was and how it was all inclusive was great. Only downfall was the overload of rules made it uneasy to relax.

I’m not a B&B guy especially on a golf trip with my buddy but it was close to our course after many miles of driving. My room was very private and the bathroom was nice. Great shower. His room had a bathroom inside his room. Breakfast was fair to good. Patti took us to a local spot which was great and close by. Very hospitable.

I’m not the biggest fan of doing this… but in my room I didn’t want to take my shoes off, there was a huge hutch filled with dolls and way too much Campbell Soup paraphernalia, I mean way too much, very tacky. What was served for breakfast was okay. Usually there’s too much food, but this time, too little.
