Travis and Nate were great hosts and very knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous as this was my first dive and Travis made me feel very comfortable and at ease. We basically got a private dive tour since it was just us and Travis and Nate. We went to 2 different dive spots and they were both great. We saw turtles, Sharks, lobsters, and all kinds of fish and coral. I would definitely dive with them again. Not to mention at the end of the dive we got homemade guac!

My brother and I scheduled last-​minute dives with Travis and Nate. We had a fantastic time diving with these guys. They were easy-​going yet very professional, knowledgable, and safe. They took care of everything for us; all we had to do was literally show up and dive. Our rented gear was in good shape and was high-​quality. They are smaller than some of the other dive operators on the island, however we preferred this because our experience was much more personal.
Will definitely dive with them again on my next visit to Kauai and would recommend them highly for anyone interested in diving in Kauai.

This was the sixth dive I’ve ever been on. My uncle and I went out with Nathan and Travis on the «Salty Dog», a cool little dive boat with character. They went out of their way to find the best dive spots. The highlight of the dive was seeing some cool White Tip Reef Sharks. They will definitely be my first call every time I head back to the island.

Awesome dive experience! Called the afternoon before to book a charter for four people which turned out to be really easy. Travis was very professional and easy going.
The morning of the dive he set everything up and told us about the dive sites.
While underwater we saw a ton of turtles, reef fish, coral, and 5 or 6 white tip sharks (one of them was pregnant). One of the best sites was a turtle cleaning station where we saw about 4 or 5 turtles at one time.
Great day and great experience. I would recommend Travis and Garden Isles Dive to anyone who wanted to dive Kauai!

I did two boat dives with Nate and Travis and it was a great time! They’ve got the perfect mix of professionalism and laid back island style! We saw tons of cool stuff including a few reef sharks and even an octopus during our safety stop. Would definitely dive with them again next time I’m on the island.

We had two excellent dives. Saw lots of turtles, a shark, great reef formations that were fun to swim through. Travis and Nate were excellent guides. We also caught a fish on our way back.

We spent two days diving with Nate and Travis in October and had an incredible time. After having a great small boat dive experience in Belize, then a so-​so big boat experience on the big island, it was such a relief to get on a small boat with guys that love what they’re doing and are super knowledgeable. Both my friend and I had separate issues underwater (user error, not related to equipment) and Travis immediately sensed it and corrected it. We felt like we were in good hand the whole trip.
Travis pointed out many cool creatures and we saw a few white tip sharks too! The turtles at the «garage» were enormous.
I will definitely go back on a trip with Garden Isle Divers and recommend them to anyone. They also personalize your trip to your liking… Fishing, snorkeling, diving, etc. …

So many turtles! We had a great time on this dive. Travis, Nick, and Rachel were fun to be out on the water with. They were able to be flexible and helped our friend finish his certification in time for us all to go on a couple of dives together.

BEST scuba on Kauai!!! I have been on many excursions on Kauai, but Travis and Nick led us on the best scuba and snorkel adventure of them all. They took us out to two great dive spots, and we saw the most amazing marine life that I have seen on the islands. But what makes Garden Isle better than the other scuba outfits on Kauai is the professionalism and fun personalities of the guides. On the way to the dive site, we were given a thorough safety briefing and some highlights on what we might see. The gear that was provided was quality and well maintained. The two dives were spectacular, and we were challenged but were never without expert supervision. Several members of the group snorkeled while the rest of us were diving, and they saw colorful fish and a couple sea turtles. After the dives, we were treated to some great food and they answered all of our questions about what we saw on our dives.
Bottom line: if you want to be treated like a sheep, go to some major operator. But if you want a once-​in-​a-​lifetime small group tour with a couple of great guys on a fun boat, choose Garden Isle Divers.

Travis and Nate of «Garden isle divers inc» exceeded our expectations bar none. Before choosing Travis + his team we spent a few evenings diligently gathering opinions/​true reviews and website info of all other local scuba opportunities via Unilocal,travel advisor and websites. Garden isle divers was who my husband and I decided to lock down after speaking w/​Travis. Travis and his team are exceptional in creating a simple but perfect dive experience. It was a great balance of personable and professional. They were very attentive to each individual while ensuring that everyone in the small group was taken care of from start to finish.
Nate had fun topside knowledge while Travis was the elusive «thresher shark «professionally but kindly handling us under the water. On then way to our boat dives they asked what Lauren wanted to see — whales… Then me — reef sharks. We saw both and sooooo much more:) the experience was more than I had expected and highly recommend calling the guys to set up a time with them… Side note was that Travis the main divider under water w/​us had a whiteboard telling us unique facts of our findings under the seas of kauai!!! The BEST dive company I have used in 15 years of diving experience. Travis and Nate run a top notch small business without the hassles and expense of a bigger company with storefront. I visited Kauai on my honeymoon and did a private trip with them. My wife had never been diving in her life. Garden Isle Divers did an incredible job of both teaching my wife the essentials but most importantly were kind and understanding. We also threw back some beers and snacks on our ride back and caught up with a pod of thousands of spinner dolphins and several humpbacks breaching in the background-​priceless! As an aquarium enthusiast I was impressed by their marine bio knowledge. Their local know how, professionalism, and friendliness is unparalleled. If lived in Kauai, I would truly be friends with these guys and trust them 100%. If you are looking for any type of dive experience on Kauai, from newbie to advanced, you must use Garden Isle.
