Jade Dragon

Nasty cheap Chinese. The food on the buffet looks horrible by 3 so if you want the buffet you better go earlier. Will not be going back.

I’ve eaten at Jade Dragon dozens of times with my family, but it’s been a couple of years since my last meal there. I recently picked up an order of carryout to refresh my memory on their food.
I ordered General Tso’s chicken with steamed rice and an order of crab rangoon. Both were okay, neither the best nor the worst I’ve ever had. They changed the style of their crab rangoons, which used to look more like a flower and had crunchy «wings» of wonton. The new style has more filling, but it’s shaped like a small pyramid with all four corners of the wonton meeting in a point. Kudos to the bonus filling, but I found the new style seemed greasier and I really missed those crunchy wings.
The General Tso’s was okay, not as sweet as other versions I’ve had, and with a little funk undertone to the sauce. If this were Thai food, I’d say there was some fish sauce in the mix. I think I prefer the sweeter version, but I can definitely see the appeal of this more savory style.
Overall, A-​OK seems about right. I remember their service being pretty good, but again, it’s been a long time since I ate in. If you’re in the area and want some Chinese, this wouldn’t be a bad choice.

I went here based on reviews from a different site, a coupe of people raved about the Mongolian beef. So I gave it a try, it was more like a desert very sweet the fried rice that they give you with your meal is just plain rice with a little stir fry seasoning, no eggs or veg’s in it. don’t waste your money here.

Published radius for delivery is a lie. I am 4.8 miles away from them by the easiest route and they are supposed to deliver within 5 miles for a $ 2.00 delivery fee.
They refused my delivery as I was «Too far»
So ergo they deliver, at best, Less than 4.8 miles away.
Since their service did not enable me to eat their food and décor is a moot point for delivery I have awarded them zero points.

Tasty food at a good price. The lunch buffet runs $ 7 and the selection is small but enjoyable. $ 1 Coke products with free refills. The service was attentive and the environment was pleasant, but no frills. I would go back since we live close buy but probably not distinguished enough to drive more than 15 minutes to get to.

Just call this place ass dragon for the horrible food. All jade dragon’s are not the same. The other jade’s are called wokout and this is a sit down place that does a lunch buffet. There just is nothing more to say than this place sucks.
