Time Warner Cable

My father recently passed away, and my mother cannot afford a $ 180 bill for cable, Internet and a phone, so we stopped in to see if we could get a smaller package. The two employees who tried to help us were very compassionate and understanding, but weren’t able to do much because of the useless, mean, and unprofessional lady who was managing that day. She was incredibly condescending, obviously didn’t know anything, and made my mom cry. I asked her what our options were, and she arrogantly stated that the only other package, which costed $ 108 and had around 10 channels, was our only option. She started to implement it without our permission when I told her that obviously our only option was to bring our business elsewhere, but the nice lady that was under her stopped her from moving forward with it. She treated us like we were cheap morons. When we told her to stop, she said «Well, isn’t this what you want? You told me that you wanted to save money.» $ 108 for 10 channels!!! What a ripoff!!!
Later that night, we got a deal with DirecTV that has every channel that my mom wants, Internet, and phone for only $ 80 a month. So we are now getting more product for $ 100 less. The guy who helped us said that he daily signs new customers who are disgruntled with Time Warner. So stay away from them!
