Oh my gosh, this place is a hidden breakfast gem! Great food, very reasonably priced and THEBEST service!!! Will come back here again for sure.

went there for breakfast and i ordered biscuits and gravy, it says fresh/homeade. The biscuits were far from fresh(hard as a rock) my hashbrowns were more like soggy potatoes, and i asked for over medium eggs and they were over easy for sure. Very dissapointed. All i ate off my plate was the eggs.

We hit the Dory Cove for breakfast/lunch today. The crab cakes were loaded with crab, flavorful and good size. There’s a slight bite to them that I really enjoyed. The Farmer’s omelette was decent, but could use a little more flavor. The chicken fried steak was good but the portion was pretty small in comparison to other restaurants. We enjoyed the halibut fish & chips. Nice three big pieces of halibut, lightly buttered with tarter and fries. The back room was extremely warm and there isn’t a lot of options for cooling it down. A ceiling fan might help.

Arrived too late for breakfast. Walk on the beach took too long. Ended up ordering a grilled cheese. Came on ww and was not asked if I wanted another kind. It was nasty. They offered to remake it but I was already doubly disappointed already. Will try again for breakfast next time we are in town.

Dory cove is our favorite seafood place to eat while we are in Lincoln city! Seafood, chowder and club sandwich are the best!

My wife and I went here for breakfast. Everything was absolutely perfect. Eggs were actually over medium, hashbrowns were just right, coffee was excellent. And Carlos was at his brilliant best, deadly accurate, and zero mistakes. This is now our go-to place for breaking fast in the morning.

They give you a ton of food. It’s really delicious. This is a weird place but the fish & chips are amazing.

I figured if I’m coming all the way to coastal Oregon I better get some honest to «goodness clam chowder» and I found it. I ordered a small dinner salad(ha) and oops, a bowl of chowder, it was more like tureen! It was one of best chowders I’ve ever tasted and had to take with me. My bride not being a seafood eater had BLT, stacked high with Applewood bacon, yum. I don’t know if we’ll be back this way but if so we’ll stop here.

I was not happy with Dory Cove and do not recommend it. It was expensive and I felt like the food I was eating came out of a can– the pile of shrimp on my salad was even shaped like a can! I was fooled by the prices and menu options but should have read more reviews before going. I would compare this restaurant to a Denny’s, in terms of atmosphere, customer service, and food quality.

We had lunch there today, salmon burger and a large bowl of clam chowder. Great food, and they also have great chicken strips/fries. My wife loves the way the fries are prepared. I have eaten at this restaurant for over 20 years and in 2 different locations in town. Great food, very nice staff!!.

Yum! Everything we had was very good. Crab cakes were fresh and flavorful. Most of the desserts are homemade and delicious. Got the bread pudding, and it was perfect. Found our new beach restaurant!

Had chowder and fish tacos. Both were ok. Wouldn’t call it the best chowder on the coast, but it is better than Mo’s, which many people(incorrectly) think is the best. Service was great, quick and friendly, and attentive. Have wondered about this place for a long time. Fun to finally try it. It won’t be on our top ten, can’t-wait-to-come-back list.

Had burgers and onion rings for lunch. So. Much. Food! Pretty basic burger. Delicious crispy fries and onion rings. Waitress was really nice and did a good job. It is a little overpriced for basic food.

Good fish and chips with a started of chowder. Been here twice and know that they were pretty consistent both times. Note: that both times we came outside of the rush hour/busy time and the service was great. We were seated quickly, water set and our order was taken. Staff was friendly and checked in with us frequently. Some pieces of the fish were perfectly fried, but I had a couple that were a little ‘darker’ than the others and they were dry. Not the end of the world and I will definitely be visiting them again soon.

Our first stop on the Oregon coast for lunch and we were excited because the reviews here were so good. We couldn’t wait to try their amazing clam chowder! However, it was kind of bland. I thought to myself, «if this is the best clam chowder on the coast, we’re in trouble!». The crab cakes were awesome, though. And we loved the razor clams. I asked our server how much of what we ate was sourced locally and she responded«I don’t know, it just comes on our delivery truck». What? How disappointing! The ocean is… right there! I understand that not everything will be available all the time, but it seems like something should have been locally sourced? Anyway, the food was ok, but the service was great. We never went without and she was very friendly and accommodating.

About what you’d expect. Slightly over cooked, simple presentations of seafood, and a large fry menu. We had the grilled Halibut, the grilled cod, the halibut and chips and a garden burger. Old style presentation in a restaurant busy with the tourist trade. You won’t go right or wrong here, but if you don’t imagine this is anything more than the fry house it is, you won’t really be disappointed either.

When you walk in this place seems nice and cozy with booths. Then the take you into a back room that has hard chairs like it is the«employees» break room.(Not sure why we were escorted to the back when the front only had one booth occupied) Ordered chowder and it was okay. Very salty! Did not need to add any on our own at all. When asked about the twice baked potatoes and asked for no chives we found out they receive them pre– made frozen so we could not change them.(Not exactly home made…) requested red potatoes due to food sensitivity issues to onions. And there were onions mixed with the red potatoes even though we were told there weren’t. :(The food was okay but not worth the price. Plus my guess is it is all pre-made by Sysco. People and servers were attentive and very nice.

Eaten here twice in the past couple of years, and both times got sandwiches. Most recent trip I got a BLT and BF got a Club. Both were good(hard to screw up a BLT or CLUB), as were the fries. Service was friendly, and sandwiches arrived fairly quickly. Overall a solid choice for lunch(and I’m sure dinner), and we’ll probably be back during our next trip to Lincoln City. *Also plenty of parking, so don’t let the roadside construction deter you.

Soup, service, satisfied. 40+ year recipe for the clam chowder, which was SOGOOD. Not too heavy and no sand. The fish and chips were nicely cooked and not over breaded. The servers were so friendly — everyone was smiling and working hard. Good job guys! We will be back.
