This place is amazing. The service was great and the food was spectacular! Definitely will be coming here again, every time we come to Lincoln city!

Can’t say anything about this place other than they advertise for breakfast but done open til 9am. It seems like late start to advertise for breakfast.

Stopped in here on a vacation from Seattle. Really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. Our waiter was very kind and attentive to our needs. And the food! The food was magnificent. Had the omelette myself which is really enough for two. The potatoes and the home made biscuit were delicious. My girlfriend had the French toast sampler which was also phenomenal. Some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. All in all two yums up.

Perhaps like me you found it strange and a bit inconvenient that a breakfast joint doesn’t open until 9am on a week day – but hey, their prerogative. But then we waited and showed up at 9. The sign on the window said they’d open at 9. And we waited, and waited some more. We left at 9:10, and there was still no sign of any activity at all. Thanks for nothing, except waiting 20 minutes of our life, Nelscott Café.

I went with two friends to this café over the weekend. The manager/owner was extremely rude to my friend when she politely asked if they had gluten free bread available for her sandwich. He actually said, «You ladies will be the death of me.» Then he laughed snidely and said they had potatoes and vegetables instead of gf bread. My friend just requested the sandwich with no bread and maybe a little more lettuce. His response was, «We don’t make salad here.» Are you flipping kidding me? My other friend and I ordered grilled cheese sandwiches. The wait was forever even though they were not particularly busy at the time. The fries were great and the server delivering our food was very sweet, but I will never go back. I’m still kicking myself for staying in the first place, as well as leaving a tip!

Great food. Service is ok. Waiter is in such a hurry. It’s small. Plan to wait it’s the only game in town. Order the wipeout you won’t be disappointed

Great food, but no longer worth what they charged. Expect to pay $ 15 a person, plus drinks and a cinnamon roll at $ 6 each. Too pricy for average Joe breakfast.

Small, homey diner right along US-101. Very local vibe. We ordered an omelet and a burger rather than any of the specials. They were okay, nothing special.

Yummmmmm. Make sure you get the house potatoes with whatever you order. The Hawaiian omelet is to die for, I subbed bacon for ham and wow it was good. Waiter was super awesome, really fun and nice.

The wipeout contains 80% biscuit… really? Came in early am Saturday… there were 4 – 6 people in… had to wait for dry wipeout almost 45 min… had to wait for coffee over 30min!!! not the best place in Lincoln City… that’s for sure!

The food was a 3 or a 4 on the star scale. The 5 stars was for our server. We didn’t get his name but let me tell you he charmed the pants off of all of us. He charmed my Mom, my Dad AND my boyfriend. He was endearing knowledgable and funny. Not to mention cute as can be. The restaurant was very cute and our food was decent. I got an omelette with mushrooms on it and the shrooms weren’t sautéed. I’m incredibly picky and didn’t eat them. Other than that we had a fantastic experience.

Service and food is very good if not great at times. However, it still cannot make up for the extremely high prices here. The breakfast sandwich is $ 11 in person, yet on their Unilocal menu it states the breakfast sandwich is $ 5.95 …that is a HUGE difference and no breakfast sandwich on Earth could be worth $ 11 in my opinion. Bait and switch not appreciated. Nice atmosphere and very nice folks and the food is good, but not worth the very very high prices. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m from the South, and I had thought that we had biscuits and gravy down. Who knew the Pacific NW could dish this one out so well? There was no skimping on the sausage nor the gravy. I had the perfect amount of gravy for my full order of two biscuits. So delicious! The reason for less than 5 stars aside from me only trying one dish on the menu was that this is about twice the cost I normally pay for biscuits and gravy(almost $ 10). For that amount, they could’ve made their biscuits a bit bigger. O, I know I’m a glutton, but just saying:)

Went to this restaurant after seeing people’s photos and reviewing the Unilocal reviews. I went with my friend who is vegan which is specifically why I am writing this post. Most breakfast places in general do not have vegan options. Nelscott café staff worked with my friend to make her a vegan breakfast. They checked in with her about the oil they used. They came over to explain how they have one range which they cook meat and eggs on, but that they would use a special pan so that she didn’t risk her food having cross contamination with animal based products. Both cooks individually checked in with her afterwards to see how her food was. Great service! Great breakfast for us omnivores. My friend did feel like the service was great, and food was good, but not recommended for vegans. I disagree, as they were very accommodating. I’ll add that she had their home potatoes cooked with bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions.

Had French toast & it was decent – prices a bit high for value imo; service was really slow, but it was clear they were understaffed so the one server was having to run around & just couldn’t keep up. Asked about cinnamon rolls & was told the baker that was making them is no longer there & they won’t be selling them until they’re able to make them to the same quality. This was a return visit, haven’t been in years & visit LC frequently. There’s so much good food in the area, think it’ll be awhile before dropping in again based on this experience

We found this awesome laid back place to eat. AWESOMESERVICE, our waiter was amazing. The food, what can one say? It was amazing. Their biscuits are SOGOOD! Plus the prices are so reasonable. If you are looking for a great place check this little place out! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

When we arrived, the place looked quaint and nice, but not the best. We arrived at 10:30 and didn’t get sat until 11, which we weren’t too happy about since it wasn’t super busy. We were then told that we could have the tiny table by the window, but that they would have to wipe it down. After waiting 10 extra minutes for the table to be cleaned, we were finally seated. Then waited a while for our orders to be taken. When our food came out, both orders were wrong and we didn’t have silverware, but were told that they would be brought by shortly. We waited so long for silverware that our food was cold by the time we got it. Later, a tray full of water cups fell onto us. Definitely not the best experience, but even though the food was cold, it tasted pretty good. Service just wasn’t the best.

Ordered the wipeout and poppers. The gravy is fantastic! Biscuits in wipeout were very dry :(The poppers won the show with great flavors. Yum!
