The rogue steakhouse is located on the 2nd floor of the casino behind the buffet. The room Is large and split between the rogue steakhouse and a lounge. It’s set up as a fancier venue with plenty of staffing, they use a server and assistant server setup. The menu is the perfect size with enough choices for everyone but not to much that it’s confusing. They start you off with warm bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Dinners include a very basic salad of greens, 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 cucumber slices. Honestly I think they could improve the salads, a croûton or two would help as would some other veggies. For dinner I tried some of my wife’s chinook grill which was amazing! I had the 16oz boneless ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly. The steak had good flavor and was a quality piece of meat. Along with my steak I tried the seasonal mac n cheese which was pesto and tomatoes(yum!). The portions are large but so is the price tag. That being said one plate at the rogue steakhouse is way better than any amount of plates at the siletz bay buffet.

I found the food decent and the price reasonable. My new york strip was closer to rare than medium rare, but I’m OK with that. I could have sent it back for a quick grill service, but decided not to. I didn’t enjoy walking though the casino. Honestly I’m not a big casino fan. The service was good. Face it, there aren’t too many good places in Lincoln City. This place is a good option for a nice dinner.

Omg, where to start? Let’s start with the couple of things that did go right. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. It’s not her fault the place sucks. The bread with the olive oil and balsamic dipping sauce was very good. They clearly are not making this here. So we both ordered the Duo of Land and Sea because the menu description sounded amazing. It was the farthest thing from amazing that anyone can imagine. Both of our steaks were ordered medium rare. Both were nearly well done. The Salmon hardly even resembled Salmon. It honestly tasted and looked like they threw it in a pot of water and boiled it and then put it on the plate. There was suppose to be Dungeness crab as well. The only crab we got was a tiny bite on top of the terrible piece of meat they called filet. At the end of the meal we wanted dessert because we were still hungry. We ordered the crème brûlée knowing it seems like a hard dessert to mess up. Well disappointed again! It was served ice cold. You can tell they burn the sugar on top ahead of time and just throw them back in the refrigerator. The custard was thick and hard. The worst crème brûlée I’ve ever had. We won a gift certificate to this restaurant, If I had had to pay for this terrible meal I would have been ready to rip somebody’s head off. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and skip this place!

Nice ocean view earned this star and it was all downhill from there: 1. Had to walk through the smoky casino to get to this restaurant. 2. Server was very timid and had a barely audible tiny voice — difficult to hear what she was saying. 3. Service, overall, was just OK, at best. 4. The food quality reminded me of the school cafeteria food that wasn’t very good fifty years ago and is still bad today. Prisoners are probably served better food than this. For a steakhouse, they should know how to actually cook steak but, sadly, this proved not to be the case. 5. The food was served cold and my wife’s mixed grill platter was swimming in some kind of mystery greasy sauce that was horrible and made no sense to be on the plate anyway. We would of returned it but we were afraid that our waitress would have burst out crying if we had asked her and we just couldn’t dare the thought of witnessing that. 6. We went to this restaurant specifically on the recommendation of one of my wife’s co-workers. She is a nice lady but obviously has no working taste buds and very low standards in restaurants. 7. Adding insult to extreme injury, we paid $ 50 for our two dinners plus 15% tip to be polite. We ended up enjoying chicken fingers at Burger King afterwards since we were hungry for a decent meal. How incredibly sad.

The best bang for your buck when it comes to surf and turf in Lincoln City. Bread and salad come with the meal and sides are NOT sold separately which is something I always look for in a restaurant. The bread was kind of weird but I have different standards as my hubby is a baker. We got the crab artichoke and spinach dip for an appetizer. It was packed full of crab and topped with so much cheese, the herb crostini was amazing compared to the bread first served. The salads were fresh and delicious. A full plate of spring mix with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. They even came around with fresh cracked pepper. Our main dishes were pretty darn good and large servings. Hubby got the duo. Filet mignon that is topped with crab, salmon and a baby lobster, fresh grilled veggies and he got the potato pie which he couldn’t finish. My dinner was the chinook grill; chicken, filet mignon, jumbo shrimp, mushrooms, grilled vegetables and the loaded backed potato. Everything was absolutely amazing! Our server was training someone new and as the place got busier we just enjoyed the wonderful view while they had to acknowledge the incoming tables. Service was quick and friendly. Our meals were amazing. The view is spectacular. Our ticket was 75 dollars but for the amount of seafood it totally seemed worth it.

The only reason I gave this restaurant two stars is that my steamed clams were pretty good and a fine portion. The French onion soup was a curiosity at best. A dark broth that truly tasted canned with some onion in it that were not caramelized, the bread and the cheese were okay. But the most curious thing were what appeared to be those canned and breaded onions people put on green bean casseroles at Thanksgiving and other special occasions. They were sitting on top of the soup. My husband’s prime rib was tough; nearly half of it went to our dog. I must note, She probably would have given it five stars. Baked potato was good, veggies were fine, bread was yummy though a little yeasty. What brought us in was the promised ocean view, which was nice. The service was quite good. The martini tasted watered down. We were not offered dessert, and the bill took a mysteriously long time to arrive.

Our dinner started off with a great basket of bread with extra virgin olive oil and raspberry balsamic. It was amazing! Then we ordered our meals… I had seafood fettuccine, it was good and my husband had the«duo» … that’s when it all went down hill! We thought the salmon was pork! It was tough and couldn’t cut it with a knife. The steak had no flavor. Our service was good and the food came our fast!

When we arrived there were many empty tables, yet we were asked to wait while they cleared a table because she had to rotate the waiters tables to even them out. Our waiter was very nice and probably the best part of our dining experience. We ordered bloody Mary’s that didn’t taste like there was any vodka in them and the mix was very thick. The dinner salad was wilted and turning brown and was the spring mix that no one uses any more. The cucumber was slimy like was starting to turn bad. I can’t believe they served it like that, certainly they have eyes! My husband had the prime rib, he said it was tasteless. I had the trio that had chicken, shrimp and filet mignon. The veggies were excellent, the chicken was moist and flavorful, just a little salty and the filet was also flavorful. The shrimp were a little under cooked for my liking. Half the restaurant is a smoking bar and since there are plenty of places to smoke at the casino, that bothered us. Overall it wasn’t that pleasurable so we won’t go back.

Prime rib was very good as was the sides. Wife had the caesar salad and she was not impressed. The clam chowder was horrible. Probably skip the rogue river next time !!

Thoroughly disappointing. My wife and I came here for our anniversary. I have rarely been disappointed by a Casino steakhouse but this one just did not cut it. For one, the atmosphere is that of a big cheap wedding. The round tables are placed randomly in the room, the linens and flatwear are cheap and the servers and bussers while they are dressed reasonably are still wearing lanyards with all their casino ID’s and name tags. One plus is the view. We got a great table looking out over the water. I didn’t even mind having to raise the window shade myself. It took a good five minutes for the waitress to get to us. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. My wife and I both ordered the New York Steak. The menu claimed that their meat was hand selected and center cut. Pointless steakhouse jargon. My steak was cooked well but severely over seasoned with cheap black pepper(not even fresh cracked). The steak was tougher than the cuts I get at costco and were not trimmed whatsoever. The steak was 16oz and AT least 5 of those oz’s were gristle or large hunks of fat. There is no dry aging or trimming happening here. The waitstaff is very nice(though they could be more professional) The food tasted fine but I was disappointed by the quality. My $ 32 steak would have been just fine if it was $ 19.95.

After waiting over an hour for a table, we were seated right off the server’s area. I requested a window table because it was our Anniversary and although there were 2 tables open while we sat in a less than ideal location, I was told we could not be re-seated. After waiting 25 minutes without being greeted, a waitress came over and gave us water, then told us she would try to find out who our server was! More time went by without ANY kind of service until another waitress came by and said that SHE would try to find out who our server was. At that point I asked to speak with the manager. It took 10 more minutes for the manager to come to our table. She did re-seat us by the window but offered no apologies for the 45 minutes we’d been waiting without any kind of service except a glass of water. The food, once it came, was quite good; however, based on the service level and complete lack of any sort of apology(not even one thing was taken off our bill– not even a drink), I would NEVER come here again. Terrible experience.

I have been going to this restaurant with my hubby and in laws for many times and I must say that everything we’ve ordered so far are absolutely delicious. The best restaurant in Lincoln City. Try the tomahawk ribeye steak and you’ll never be disappointed.

Pretty darned good! We visited after making a last minute decision. We were dining with a 2 year old, and I was worried that the casino smoke would waft into this restaurant(situated upstairs), but it didn’t. They were super accommodating about the baby given the upscale look. They sat us in a corner booth and«rushed» the baby’s order. His cheeseburger and fries were better than a typical kid’s meal. Both house wines were surprisingly good. My micro-brew battered fish and chips were really delicious and crispy. My husband’s herbed salmon, however, was under sauced or salted or something?!? The salad and his veggies were well prepared though. Unfortunately, neither of us tried the steak. Overall, I’d say this is a pretty nice establishment though!

I’m surprised that the Rogue River Steakhouse doesn’t have any Unilocal reviews yet. I dined here with my family on Wednesday night for their Double Down steak special. Two 16 oz. New York steaks with a baked potato, green salad, bread, veggies and chocolate cake for just $ 26.99. I have never seen so much food! Everything was delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The baked potato was gigantic and came with a selection of toppings on the side, including butter, sour cream, cheese, green onions and bacon. I couldn’t even finish half my meal! I heard that the restaurant has a view of the ocean but I was there after dark and couldn’t see anything through the huge windows.
