Last October 2014 I took a 2001 Model Husqvarna Lawn Mower to All Seasons Small Engine,(2131 Cornhusker Highway, Suite 2, 4024352677) for repair of the Self Propelled Drive Mechanism. I didn’t need it over winter obviously so I was not in a rush. I called after not hearing for a few weeks and they told me the part needed was ordered. I did not receive any calls about their progress but as Spring approached I called them and they said it was ready for pickup. I received it back this March 2015, the bill was $ 199.08. It operated satisfactorily until late April when while operating it the Self Propelled Mechanism stopped operating. I called All seasons and spoke to Zach who offered to pick up the machine and fix it under their labor warranty. He picked up the machine the same day within 2 hours. I was satisfied at the time for their position to stand behind their workmanship. I believe in giving a businessman the opportunity to correct any deficiency. In the time between April and September I did not receive any calls keeping me informed of their progress. I however made many without receiving much helpful information just that the part was ordered and had been back ordered. In the meantime I had to hire my lawn done at the rate of 30 $ per week. I have a large lawn. After 17 weeks I received a call on September 2 informing me that the part to fix the mower was no longer available. Previously it had been back ordered. The explanation was that when they«inquired» further about my part they received the complete story. It took 17 weeks to inquire further and to get the complete story. I was unable to visit all Seasons until today. I spoke with the Owner Dusty P. I asked him considering my experience what could he offer me as a resolution. He did agree to give me a 100 $ discount on a new Husqvarna Mower. I told him I would consider it but on the way to load the old mower he told me that the 100 $ offer included him keeping my old mower. He suddenly added to his original offer when he realized I wanted to keep my mower as a spare. My thinking was I could find another more experienced shop that either had access to secondary market parts or they could«Macgyver» up a fix method. This business is way over their head both in terms of business knowledge and customer relations. They have no process for keeping their customers informed nor do they care to. They somehow got the business of Big Box repairs for Lowes and from what I experienced they must prioritize their labor time for them and not the walk in customer. Excuses are the norm for this business. Admittedly I was way too nice in my dealings with All Seasons. And obviously they don’t care about their customers. A very successful business person once told me, «Don’t let money come between you and your customer». It’s obvious a $ 100 dollar discount/trade offer clearly showed he could not care any less about the 17 weeks of $ 30+ mowing charges he caused his customer by not inquiring further sooner on in the service cycle. My advice is to stay clear of this business.
