This is a no frills outfitting company, but despite that, we found these guys super helpful when we rented bikes from them two weekends ago. It’s close enough to the trail for it to be considered conveniently located. The prices are decent and the equipment was in great condition. We even had a little«incident» on the trail where I accidentally bumped into my date’s bike, causing her not only to nearly flip over the handles(ack!!) but to also bend the front wheel. Rendering the bike unridable. We walked back to these guys and explained what happened and they were 100% understanding and didn’t charge us for the light damage to the front tire. It helped alleviate just a bit of my guilt.

I rented a bike about two weeks ago. About 1 mile down the bike path, I heard a snap and the rear wheel locked up. Luckily, I did not fall. The gear thingie(I know little about bikes) had broken and wrapped itself into the back wheel spokes. After walking back to the store, I was offered another bike but I declined as I was rattled and did not trust their equipment. I was not offered a refund. I will not rent from them again.

Went for a guided three hour kayak trip down the blackstone river on Sunday. Trip was exceptional, guides were helpful, knowledgeable and full of local stories and lure. I live in Pawtucket and was blown away by the trip, the scenery and the beauty of the river. A must do for locals and tourists alike. Highly recommend!
