I’ve been to this store a few times, and they are always blasting the worst shit-kicker country music. I could only grab the thing I came for and run out. Tried again this morning, same situation. I’m not going in there again.

Best location In town although the one on 27^th and superior area is giving them a run for their money. Produce guys are always super helpful, if you don’t see it out they will bring some in from the back, always ask!

Outstanding Hy-Vee. Huge store. Everything you could ask for in a grocery store. Lots of fantastic employees also. I wish it was closer to my house. Though on the downside, it always seems crowded.

This is a massive Hy-Vee. I came in here for a few groceries and ended up wandering around for over an hour!
Great selection and super clean!!!
Associates are really friendly and great at helping you find anything you need!!!
Great selection of produce as well as their olive bar!
This is a great location! Huge store with great selection and great staff!

I moved to Colorado for a year and a half and one of the things I missed the most about home was Hy-Vee. Sad on my part… probably. The health food section is awesome, the produce is good, the prices are reasonable. Also, I went to grad school in Des Moines, Hy-Vee’s headquarters, and they do so much good in that city. They provide a quality service/product and are very active in the community as well. I love this store!

I recently visited this Hy Vee while I was in town and I sure wish we had grocery stores like this where I live! The store was so bright and clean and it just made me happy being there! The wine and beer selection was huge and the gluten free section was amazing — so many choices. Hy Vee, you rock.

Pros: The best grocery store in Lincoln. Relatively cheap.
Cons: Not quite as cheap as Super Saver.
The guacamole that comes in single-serving packets is great, because REAL guacamole like that doesn’t keep for more than 24 hours after any exposure to oxygen.
The Trident Wild Alaskan Salmon Burgers are great. Better tasting than beef, and better for you.
The Hy-Vee brand dried tropical fruit is good too.

As of January 2009, this is the newest Hy-Vee location in Lincoln.
I added this as a grocery store, drugstore, & florist. Plus, because it houses a huge cafeteria (Chinese, Italian, Salad Bar, deli, etc.), I felt it also deserved to be classified as a restaurant.
I’ve only been here a couple times so far, & both times it was for lunch in the cafeteria. Strangely, Hy-Vee grocery stores have become some of my favorite places to eat. They’re like a very clean buffet with a virtually unlimited selection. They also seem to be Sunday brunch favorites with the church crowds. Food is very fresh most all of the time.
This new location has the biggest, cleanest, & nicest dining area.
