Found this place by accident near a university I had some appointments at. It’s a small place on the corner of Cornhusker Highway and North 48th street. Very homey with a lot of great sandwich options, as well as some breakfast items. They also had some yummy looking cupcakes, but didn’t try those. Since I didn’t have a lot of time, I just ordered a ham and swiss sandwich on toasted sourdough, and it was really good. The service was very friendly and fairly quick. I’m going to be working in Lincoln again next month, and I’m going back to try it again(maybe for breakfast this time).

A friend and I have Lunch once a month at new or different Lunch locations in Lincoln. We had heard good things about Lulu’s and since it was on the«Bites & Brews» Card BOGO from the LJS we decided to give it a try. I usually adhere to the«It is what it is» philosophy but I’m not so sure that if I did that it wouldn’t be an injustice to Lulu’s. Maybe it was just a bad day. I will say that if we give it another try and we have the same experience that it will be our last. This refers to taste, quality and service. I will use this same review and update it in fairness to Lulu’s.

A random choice for lunch driving by and stopped in. Lulu’s is a grilled cheese and cupcake Lunchery. I had a grilled cheese made with cheddar and American on white bread, not too adventurous but a great choice. I included a bowl of chicken noodle soup and an iced tea. The plate came out looking amazing garnished with a deviled egg. A great choice!
