The Great Escape Day Spa

I had heard about Great Escape from several friends, so I decided to try it out. The spa is on the second floor in a strip mall, but the reception area is lovely. The room for waxing is not especially attractive, but the actual services rendered ROCK. Amanda is speedy and gets the job done before you have time to feel the pain. I took off the one star for ambiance and décor, but I’ll be back!

Just had another massage with Mollie. She does such a great job and I leave there feeling so relaxed! I try to get in each month, or whenever my schedule allows. I recommend the deep Swedish, but I’m excited to try the Citrus Healer next month!

I had purchased a Groupon for my first wax with Kim. I was a little nervous, as it was the first time I had gotten a bikini wax, but Kim was awesome. She made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process and made the entire experience much more comforting and easy! She is very professional and was more than willing to answer any and all questions. She also talked to me throughout to make the process less awkward. Since then, I’ve been going to Kim once a month and would recommend her services to anyone. I even decided to try a massage with Mollie and IT. WAS. HEAVEN. If you’re on the fence, just do it. They’re great, and so are their prices.

I had a Groupon for a spa service with Amanda N. which I rescheduled a whole bunch of times. She was very gracious and patient with me. When I was finally able to make my appointment I was impressed with the ambiance of the spa. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it had a very soothing atmosphere, dim lighting, and smelled wonderful. Amanda took me into the room where I got my service and walked me through what was to take place. The entire time she was professional without being cold and very personable, making my experience pleasant. And the result of my service couldn’t have been more to my liking. So much so that I went ahead and booked another appointment. I think she’ll have a regular in me from now on. Thanks Amanda and to Great Escape, I’m looking forward to trying out your other services.
