I was done dealing with Northwestern Children’s Practice’s incompetent billing department (previously reviewed) and decided to switch pediatricians. Well guess what? NorthShore University HealthSystems billing is just as incompetent. The pediatrician was very good. My child saw her in September 2012 and NorthShore is still billing me the difference between the insurance contracted rate and the actual charge. I have called, written, and faxed the EOB which shows that the date of service was paid by insurance and that NorthShore cannot bill the difference between the contracted rate and billed rate. It is now almost a year later.

I had posted a previous review, with a less favorable rating. However, they contacted me about it, and I have therefore corrected my review and my rating. The service is always outstanding at this place. We also recently visited their other location on Woods Drive in Skokie. While we were in the lower level over there, waiting for an xray, a lady (sorry I forgot her name), who I will describe as african american, heard my senior friend cough a couple times and came over «saying I heard someone over here coughing and thought you would like a bottle of water» I was most impressed. Its that simple customer service that is so hard to find now-​a-​days. Thanks NorthShore, Angelo
