DITTO

A really different kind of place with a lot of «characters» at the bar, but the soup was excellent, the burgers looked amazing and the staff was friendly. It reminds me a little of the Landing Zone which is about 12 miles east on RT-​118. Both are worth making the trip for on a December motorcycle ride.

Ditto is the bar side of Bohemian Pizza and rightfully deserves it’s own reviews separate from Bohemian. GREAT DIVE BAR!!. It’s small, like a hallway but full of life. Great juke box, there are 2 TV’s, last time the bar was watching we were there (waiting for a pizza we ordered togo) the bar was watching Wheel of Fortune as a unit trying to solve the puzzle. That made me laugh.
First time we were there was after we had a late lunch at Bohemian. we walked over to the bar side and ordered car bombs. Lo and behold I discover that their free bar snacks are shelled peanuts and an assortment of oreos! What? Awesome. The bar has tons of wackness (the only way I can describe it) for your eyes to feast upon. That time the bar was pretty laid back, quiet. Came back a couple hours later and ended up staying for about 5 hours getting shnockered at the hands of Matt the greatest bartender in all the land.lol. Seriously, great bartender, friendly. attentive, funny. This bar has the beer, the shots and the martinis. FYI Matt makes a mean dirty martini but the specialty. the pineapple martinis. I kid you not! Freash and tastes just like juice but let me tell you it packs a mean wallop! You can literally drink them til you fall off your barstool (no that didnt happen to me, Im just saying)
In summary, this place is my favorite drinking hole in CT.
#1 It’s unique, reminds me of a lot of the typical Austin, TX bar
#2 Drinks, snacks and bartender (Matt specifically) are above par
