I love coming to this place the food is really good. It has become my «go to» restaurant when I want a nice cooked and relaxing meal. My favorites are the drunken noodle and the Phở. I also always get a Thai tea. It has a funny taste at first, but I grew to like it. It hard to explain the flavor. Just delish lol! Have I said I love this place.

Excellent food and great service! We stopped by for lunch one day after a friend recommended the restaurant. My husband ordered the Pad-woon Sen with chicken and I ordered the curried duck. I was able to sub the rice for glass noodles for an additional $ 3…that was a plus for me! Our waitress was very friendly and personable which made the dining experience even better. The presentation of the dishes were superb! Their flavor and quality was even better! The waitress even bought extra seasonings to our table. We’ll be back to visit again soon and I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends!

Great place to order from if you live near and want some of the following 1) fried rice 2) sushi 3) curry(s) w/rice 4) hella vegetarian options. Like pretty much most of the options are entirely vegetarian. It took me some time to find this out. But now that I know, I’m going to try more things. This time we had the veggie phở and the basil-eggplant with basil! It was all so great and the service was amazing!

I came here on a Sunday at 1:45 p.m. The sign in the door stated the hours on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 9:30 p. m and the OPEN sign was lit. However, the restaurant was CLOSED, the door was locked and the lights were off. My friends and I left very disappointed. I would suggest calling ahead before coming here. I would suggest they leave a sign in the door for patrons to know if there is an emergency or another reason why they are unable to open that day!

We attended around 5PM this evening(Valentine’s Day). There were only two servers on staff and the restaurant quickly became busy. They were very friendly, but the service was slow. Sushi: We ordered the Dragon Roll, which is a tempura shrimp roll covered in unagi(eel) and avocado. The shrimp tempura was actually just tempura crumbles, and the eel was overcooked to the point of being chewy. There was far too much avocado. Appetizer: We ordered the shrimp/chicken fried wraps, but we ended up getting the steamed dumplings, and we didn’t actually receive our(incorrect) order until our meal was almost over. The steamed pork buns were more like shu mai. The pork flavor was overwhelming, but the sauce was very tasty. Meals: –Drunken Noodle with Chicken: The sauce was neither flavorful nor plentiful. I tasted mostly basil. The chicken breast slices were extremely dry and there were only a couple pieces of broccoli in the dish. –Thai BBQ Chicken: This dish was actually delicious. Even the white meat portion was flavorful and moist. The BBQ sauce was sweet and tangy, and some areas of the skin were quite crispy. We ordered plain white rice in place of the shrimp friend that usually came with it, so I cannot review that side dish. The price was high for the quality and portion sizes.

I work not too far from this Thai place. Lucky for me that there’s even a Thai restaurant on this side of town. The service here is very friendly. If you pay close attention, the details of the decors are really cute.(I like the Buddha statues and the plants that compliments them.) It’s very clean. The setup is neat and comforting. The food was good. Prices are decent. Of course I’ll be back.

This place has excellent sushi when you can get them to serve it. My wife and i enjoy sushi and sake. They don’t offer sake and were told yesterday that the sushi was not ready. Isn’t sushi raw? What’s to get ready? So i ordered coconut soup… Not available. Really?

The service is great, food is amazing, and music is soulful. I came in for an early dinner and orded the basil sauce with chicken(medium spicy). It came out as ground chicken but it tasted very fresh. Also, ask for the spice rack to add more zest and hotness. I definitely will dine again.

THENAMESAYSITALL! This is definitely authentic Thai with wonderful flavors that seem to be activated by chewing. Many Thai restaurants tend to fall flat and are one note– sweet. This is definitely one of the best Thai dishes I have experienced in long time. While in the area of the mall, Stonecrest, my husband was suddenly very hungry and was able to locate this restaurant with assistance from Unilocal. It has a very simple, yet comfortable décor with several plants throughout the restaurant. There is a small patio if you prefer to dine outside. We were the first customers today and were invited to sit at the table of our choosing. Our waitress was very prompt and very sweet as she delivered our menus and waited for us to order our meal. We started with the springs rolls, which were followed by Thai basil rice,(hubby’s choice) and drunken noodles with chicken and veggies,(my choice). Our dishes were delivered piping hot and as ordered. My husband has difficulty getting the right amount of heat added to his dish and this time the dish was perfect, hot and spicy as requested. I ordered my noodles light on the sauce and they were perfect, as were the fresh and crispy veggies. The service and the meal was very enjoyable and this is a restaurant that we would definitely choose again and again! Highly recommended!

This place is Amaaaazing! It’s so hard to find authentic Thai on the east-side but this place is everything! I normally go with that Basil Fried rice and you have to try the Thai tea! The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable! The service is always pleasant and food comes out fairly quickly. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I frequent this spot for takeout sushi! I always love their food I’ve tried several things on their menu and have never tasted anything that wasn’t to my liking. I stay away from meats now as a vegetarian but I used to get their orange chicken with rice which was quite amazing. Dined in for once and it was peaceful and I tried the eggplant entrée with vegetables. Also tried the mango rice pudding, it was eccentric but good. My only issue with rice Thai is they often forget to put condiments in the bag and they forgot my rice so I make sure that I check my bags before I leave.

Awesome food. Great staff. Better prices. We’ll be back. He had the pineapple cashew fried rice. I had the Drunken Noodle. Both were awesome!

How are you going to have a brightly lit up sign that says«Sushi» at the storefront, and then tell me that the sushi is not ready? This is the 2nd time this has happened, and I’ve only been here twice. Apparently the sushi rice was not ready. It was 12:45pm when I came in. Your sushi rice isn’t ready 45 minutes after the lunch rush started? You should consider turning off the neon«Sushi» sign on your window until you are ready to start serving then. Other than that, Rice Thai is definitely middle of the road. It isn’t the worst, but I definitely was not impressed with the food. Inside of the restaurant is nice and simple. They have some Asian inspired décor and the tables are all pre-plated. The service is good. Our server was pretty attentive and would come by occasionally to refill our waters without us flagging her down. I ordered the Lad Nha which is a dish with wide egg noodles w. meat and veggies in a Thai style gravy. It wasn’t horrible, but to be blunt, I instantly thought that this was barely a step up from a take-out Chinese restaurant. The only thing I could focus on was the lack of flavor, other than some salt. I had to ask them for some hot chili sauce to add on. Also, the gravy is just starch with some salt. It was pretty disappointing. I could have definitely made this better at home. It was a quick sign of lazy cooking. The one thing that I did enjoy was their cream cheese egg rolls, which is pretty much crab rangoons. Cream cheese deep fried inside of an eggroll wrap? You can’t mess this up. At the end of the day, will I be back? I probably will give this place another try some time in the future only because it is near where I work. So I give this place a 2 for now, with hopes that I can come back one day and give it a 3+. Who knows, maybe they will have sushi available next time like they advertise.

I used to go here all the time with my fiancé and then we stopped going for 7 months or so. Yesterday was our first day back and I still love the place! The only reason we went on this hiatus is because we literally came here every week. I think we had a mutual, unspoken understanding that we had to give it a break. Plus, we were new residents moved from Las Vegas and we wanted to see what else Atlanta had to offer. The environment is clean and quiet. The décor is quaint yet simple. There’s a TV and I believe Wi-Fi. This is a family owned restaurant and the owner’s kids usually serve the customers. They’re respectable, nice kids. Today’s lunch, we ordered panang curry and it came with white rice. The curry was delicious and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried curry yet(and to those that have tried curry too)! The flavors melt in your mouth. We also got basil rolls which are somewhat similar to Vietnamese spring rolls minus the noodles. Good, healthy appetizer! They gave us 2 spring rolls also but we didn’t pay for it so I believe they were complimentary. For drinks we got a taro slushie and a honeydew slushie. Definitely recommend them if you haven’t tried either flavors before. Next time, I’m forsure ordering the mango sticky rice for dessert. I’ve been wanting to try that since FOREVER! Overall, I can’t believe we stayed away for so long so yes definitely coming back again in the VERYNEAR future and I recommend to anyone in the area!

My husband and I tried this restaurant on a Saturday night. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got the sweet and sour chicken and my husband got the crispy basil duck with an appetizer of fried oysters. I honestly can’t make up my mind on if I liked the oysters or not. They were good, and the sauce was different; but, I don’t know if I liked the batter. That’s just me, though! The sweet and sour chicken was not anything overly amazing. It’s just sweet and sour chicken like you would get at any asian restaurant. The crispy basil duck was very flavorful. I honestly loved it! It was boneless duck sliced thinly and I believe stir fried. The sauce was powerful and it had a hint of spiciness. I don’t normally find things spicy literally– I think I burned those taste buds a long time ago; however, this dish was sprinkled with red pepper flakes. It wasn’t my dish, and I ended up eating what my husband couldn’t eat. The portion sizes are large, and I took home leftovers. If I go back to this restaurant, I will definitely get the crispy basil duck again.

I really like their food. But today I had a bad experience. After eating I noticed a German cockroach crawling through my plate… I was pretty disgusted.. I doubt I’ll be back. I’m sorry Rice Thai.

Who’s obsessed with Thai food??? Me! Me! Meeeeee! This is my second time going for Thai in a 4 day period and now that my friend has helped me discover that there is a delicious Thai place right around the corner from my house, I think my obsession will get a little worse. We walked in and everything was pretty quiet and peaceful. We contemplated on eating there or taking it home but my sis didn’t feel like staying so we got it to go. I would have been happy to eat there though because it is a nice looking place and the young lady in there was very welcoming and nice. I ordered my usual: PANANGCURRYCHICKEN, with a crab and cheese roll appetizer. I ordered it as medium on the spicy level. The food took about 20 minutes to come out but it felt like forever because we were hungry. The prices were normal. $ 10.95 for my entrée and $ 4.95 for the crab rolls. I got into the car and went to TOWN on my crab rolls so I didn’t get a chance to get a picture. They were very tasty and full of crab and cheese filling. Mmm mm! When I got home I noticed that there wasn’t enough rice to go with all that curry so I definitely suggest asking for more rice when getting it as takeout. I think this is probably the most comparable panang curry to my favorite at Wild Ginger. It had a very healthy balance of sweetness, basil and spice. The chicken was a little over cooked but other than that I was very happy. I will definitely be back sooner than later and I’m looking forward to it. I heard its under new management but I never went there under the old management so I can’t compare. They are in the small shopping center next door to Target and right next to Firehouse subs. The sign says Exotic Thai or something like that. Check them out! I would say 4.5 stars if I could. Update 12⁄23: heated up my leftovers and they still taste great! I’m giving them a 5 instead of a 4. I’m very pleased and will be back soon. Updat: I just

Love the food and the service at this Thai restaurant. I always order to-go and they have it ready for me, hot, when I arrive. I love the fried rice, potstickers and the ice tea. If you’re on the fence about trying — go for it! The prices are reasonable and the food is great! Easy to find — it’s next to Target at Stonecrest Mall in the same shopping strip with Firehouse Subs.
