Dr. Shier is the BEST foot doctor!!! He is very friendly and makes you feel at home! I came here by recommendation of a friend because I was having a lot of pain in my foot/​heel. It was end of July/​August and I was planning on running the NYC marathon in November and wasn’t sure I would be able to make it.
Dr. Shier is a runner himself so, unlike other doctors, he didn’t say I should just STOP running because we all know that’s not possible. Apparently I had injured my Achilles heel which is very hard to treat. Anyway, he measured my foot for orthodics, gave me some exercises to do and suggested neutral sneakers. A few weeks later I was back running and even ran the NYC in his orthodics. I definitely recommend Dr. Shier !!!

The Dr forgot about the oath he took to take care of patients first. A patient for 3 years yet, sent us to collection over a small bill. We were late paying because of an insurance mix up that was cleared up. The lady in billing very snotty and nasty. She claimed she called my home number to remind me of payment, which was a lie because that number had been disconnected for 3 years due to a change of address. More like a money hungry business man vs a Dr.
