I have not been to this location in about 3 years now. I guess the other reviews show that it is not a good place to hang out. YESSHADY is the key word here. I have no idea what’s going on here but something just seems so OFF like I really cannot describe in words. Get it? Don’t go here folks unless you are in for some punishment of bad service, worn out equipments and feeling like you need to somehow rectify this experience with a lot of happiness and joy somewhere else.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. During the mid-90s thru the early part of this decade, Star Billiards was a viable plan B on the weekend. There was always a wait, but you knew someone there and just hopped on the table with them. It was a great hangout, free of violence and tomfoolery. The place was always packed on Friday and Saturday nights. I think the demise came with the«re-election» of George Bush. Much of the world gave up at that point. Billiards could not escape the wrath of four more years of incompetence. But this isn’t about politics, it’s about adopting a poor business model. I wasn’t there to witness the actual decline. I do have several 2nd hand accounts from those that were there. Smoking is no longer allowed indoors and they are no longer a 24-hour establishment. Also, the pocket pool tables have been moved upstairs while the no-pocket billiard tables are downstairs. So if you want to play 8 or 9-ball and you’re in a wheelchair, then you’re out of luck. Terrible, just terrible…
