Burger King

I like this Burger King mainly due to its Hollywood-​ish décor. They even have outdoor seating, and a play-​place for the kids. With a huge lot and plenty of parking, this BK is located in the Douglaston Plaza shopping center in the quiet, upscale Queens neighborhood, Douglaston. The service is decent, for the most part. The menu is identical to nearly every other Burger King, so no need to review that. I always order their various chicken sandwiches I always ask for a few packets of mayo on the side, which they always give me for free. The place is generally quiet, however, it tends to get a little crowded and busy during the afternoon when the kids get out of school (there is an elementary school [PS 221] and a junior high school [MS 67]) within a mile. Overall, a good, quiet place to relax by yourself or with friends.

Burger King located in Douglaston Shopping Center, next to Modell’s and Macy’s. Plenty of parking out front, or in the large parking lot shared by the other stores. For the most part, fast, efficient service. Typical Burger King food. Plenty of seating inside and a few tables out front as well. i like Burger King’s caramel sundaes. loll

This is the worst burger king in America. The floors are so sticky and filthy it sounds like Velcro peeling apart while you walk on it. The dining room is filthy also; always littered with napkins and trash and the tables never get wiped down. It’s a shame too because it has a nice Hollywood theme. There’s always a bunch of kids hanging out making noise and acting obnoxious. If you can get past all of that then you’re left with the service. It’s a bunch of unsupervised teenagers working there. They are also usually very poorly groomed as in dirty uniforms and poor hygiene. The kid that took our order last time had so many stains and wrinkles in his shirt and his pants were caked in food waste. He smelled like he just ran the New York marathon and had black dirt under his fingernails. They managed to get the order right but the food was completely inedible. Everything was room temperature and the fries were cold and hard and had the texture of twigs. Disappointment is the only consistency about this establishment. I wish Unilocal would allow me to give it the accurate rating of zero stars.

Remember:
You will receive the amount of fries for one size smaller.
For example, if you order a large, they’ll give you the amount for a medium… etc.
Their workers change very frequently and these days they have been hiring pretty rude people.
They will roll their eyes at you and pour extra salt on your fries.
Nothing special about here.

The whoppers taste better for some reason, love the location, have a burger when you leave Fairway Market-​You wont regret it.

This bK has a Hollywood themed décor spacious eating area. My kids love to sit and eat at the ‘car’ table. 4 stars mainly for its nice décor and the huge outdoor child play area. I usually bring my kids here to kill time while my wife can go shop by herself at Macy’s next door.

It’s Burger King, not a fast food person but the décor is very cool. Old hollywood style.

Pretty quiet Burger King. Tons of seating and the décor of the place is very «planet hollywood» like.

This BK is very clean, the service is about average, no drive thru, and they participate in some of the national promos. They have it decorated very nicely and parking is good.

I have mixed feelings about this place.
The first time I stepped in, the service was great. The place was clean, and the food came fast. I thought I found a nice BK… I thought!
the second trip was more like any other BK experience. I don’t know if they have to make every chicken sandwich to order, but I literally timed them after I noticed my order was taking longer than usual. I get my food, look at the time stamp on my receipt; 15 mins. And they call this FAST FOOD.
Tables weren’t clean this time, either.
Like I said, I have mixed feelings about this place.

I usually come here to eat before I watch a movie with my boyfriend. It’s in a convenient location. I also like the layout of the restaurant. It’s very cute and retro. In addition, the establishment is relatively clean. There is ample seating as well. Overall, I would come here again.

This BK was THE hang-​out spot back in middle school. Every weekday from 3 – 8 PM this place is legitly swarming with adolescents awkwardly holding hands on their first date. This is their 5^th grade version of dinner from «dinner & a movie.»
The décor is quite nice for a Burger King as it is filled with Hollywood movie memorabilia. But the absolute best part of this BK is the booth that’s shaped like a car! I had many fun times in there namsayns? ;)

The salad was prepackaged with over ripe grape tomatoes, the salt-​free fries were salty, and a very diligent worker swept garbage past us as we were trying to eat our food. It was around 9:40 Weds ⁷⁄₂₁ and very near closing time but come on, when people are eating they should be allowed to eat in peace.
I did not have it my way.

Yup, this is a Burger King, it has the exact same menu you expect to find. Ah, but there is something a little more unique about this one. Around 2000 they renovated the inside so it looks like a 50s diner. This includes an old jukebox which actually plays music, tacky leopard print and other design seating, and movie posters all over the place. It’s actually pretty kitchy and nice, for a fast food restaurant. There’s even a DairyQueen station in the back, but it’s usually not open.
As always there is a gigantic play area outside to let your little ones run around like banshees. Overall a fine place to go to, especially if you’re at the shopping center. Many fond memories were had when I was in high school and eating here.
