Today I had the pleasure of walking into the store randomly and being help by a very kind gentleman who did not charge me to fix my glasses.

I bought my 3 year old son’s glasses at Mr. Optical (thanks to the astigmatism he has in both eyes, ugh). I chose stores based on a list I printed from united healthcare vision insurance (spectera) website. We shopped from Bayside to Glen Oaks, Great Neck and everywhere in between, and we were shocked to see how difficult it was to find nice, small frames. Mr Optical was the first place we went but I insisted on shopping around. In in my opinion, they had the best selection of tiny preschool aged kids frames, so we went back :). For the most part, other stores gladly offered to order frames for us, but we’d have to purchase them without ever seeing the frames first hand. Mr. Optical had several styles and brands to select from, including the Flexon frames we purchased.
Great experience and Mr Morty was excellent at adjusting Jr’s frames.
