I can’t count on my hands and feet how many times we’ve sit at the stop light in front of this place on our way into the beach Wondering, any good? Well my wife and some of her friends where down and dropped in. First thing I heard when she got back home was next time We gotta go to Little River Deli. And we did. This is truly a hole in the wall, nothing fancy at all. The staff is nice but not out of their way. You order at the counter and take a seat. My wife chose a steak and cheese, Myself I settled for the Ruben and hot chips. My Ruben was the best one I’ve ever had. Hot chips where good also. My wife’s Cheese steak was just as good. The Boar’s Head Meat sign has all ways caught my attention when we drive by. We tried the homemade chicken salad and potato salad was not bad at all. A must stop for us.

A great little hole in the wall location, this is another locals favorite for lunch or in the morning for a breakfast sandwich so if you come at those times expect a wait. I recommend the sandwiches which are fresh made to order or a canollee.

Only come here for the food. And at that not everything is good. New York prices and attitudes. The workers are Ignorant as hell. And expensive for a deli. Some sandwiches are really good but that’s about it. Friend had an egg salad on a side to try it. There was maybe a spoon full given and charges about $ 2 and some change. To make it worse it was absolutely terrible. Sandwiches that everyone got were good. Good luck!

This place is great. It looks like a hole in the wall, but the food is made to order and fresh. Staff is very friendly as well… Check it out…

Food is the only reason why I keep coming back. Here’s what you do when you come to this place… 1. DONOT expect friendly customer service. No smiles, no hello, or how may I help you. MOST important, don’t show up 15 min before closing or you’re an asshole. You will be eating with daggers being shot at you. 2. DO expect annoyed looks and unsmiling faces. 3. Walk straight to the register and order from menu on wall or make up your own sandwich. Have a drink picked out either from coolers behind you or from soda fountain by the front door. If they are out of tea, don’t expect the urn to be filled anytime soon, just move on to another drink, my friend. 4. Have a seat and someone will bring you your food fairly quickly. The food will be good.

Just make sure you come well before closing time. 15 minutes isn’t sufficient or you will get evil eye and eye rolling behind your back– and scolding from the cook he already cleaned the grill. They served me but weren’t very happy about it.

The BEST roast beef hoagie(sub) not only in this area… The best ANYWHERE! Amazingly perfect EVERYTIME! Little River deli is a little gem of a deli. It’s our first stop when arriving to SC.

Not bad food considering it was prepared by diehard Yankee and Giant fans who relocated to SC. Sandwiches are delicious atmosphere could be better if they had Patriot and Red Sox pictures on the wall instead of those other guys pictures but I did enjoy looking at the Golf Greats Nicholas and Palmer. Rolls and home made chips really add to the experience. That’s coming from a die hard Pats and Sox fan

This was my first time there, but I’ll be back for sure. Ordered the Soprano for take-out and it was Awesome! The rolls are nice and crusty so if you’re from Philly or NYC you’ll be a fan. Service was like it is in the Northeast… fast and no chit-chat, which I appreciate… I was in and out in minutes, which is how it ought to be. They also throw in some chips that they obviously make there, they were pretty good.

I found this place while working at seacoast medical center. What a little gem of a place! Best BLT I’ve ever had and staff are super friendly.

Thease people are not very happy or friendly once I was spoken to rude n next time my mom was. Not complaining about the food just the crappy service makes you feel bad being treated poorly. I did hear the owners were from Chicago it’s no wonder they have no southern charm :(

Very disappointed! Not only did it take 40 minutes to fix my sandwich, but then the cook got defensive and mouthy when the lady who took my order brought it to his attention that I was unhappy. Then I got to sit with my wife while the mouthy cook waked by glaring at us several times. This is not my first time eating here, but probably my last. All because of a mouthy cook who has A LOT to learn in the subject of customer service. Very unfortunate for a place that has such potential.

We have driven by this place numerous times but thanks to the reviews on Unilocal,we are now hooked. We both ordered CBLT(chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a hoagie roll) and were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s now on our short list of places to eat near Myrtle Beach when we’re in the mood for a sandwich.

You want a great sandwich? You need to stop here on the way in or out of Myrtle Beach. Subs and real hard rolls… Yes this transplanted nyrkr said hard rolls. not kaiser rolls. Boars head meat shaved thin and piled high on that luscious bread. almost like home or as close as I have come to it in the Carolinas. Slow down once you see the water tower coming in on the left or you will shoot right by it!

Yummy food and excellent service! Looking for a little slice of NY at the beach then check them out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The breakfast sandwhich with egg cheese and sausage is by far my favorite. And for dinner I ask for my specialty chicken parm in garlic butter sauce over pasta(its not on the menu but I know the owners).
