Caracalla Salon and Body Spa

Fabulous massage therapist-​ask for Rory! Great trendy neighborhood, fab modern spa. My favorite little rock massage spot.

While the services of Tracy were great, the accommodations were not high quality which is what the salon/​spa tries to portray. They had her sitting on the floor to do my pedicure. The chairs were covered with stained sheets. It was in a dark basement of the salon. The foot bath is something I own at home. I had a Living Social voucher and thought I’d check them out, but I wouldn’t pay regular price ($ 107) for a spa mani/​spa pedi here! I plan to seek Tracy ’ s independent services elsewhere. Caracalla is a joke and overpriced for the experience. If it weren’t for the amazing mani/​pedi by Tracy, this review would have 1 star.

My husband and I went in today for two 1 hour massages. Friendly staff and the massage was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this place!

A friend booked us a pedi appointment. She confirmed with the scheduler that they could see us together on the day I was to be visiting town. When we got there we were shocked to learn that our pedis would be in different rooms. They explained they don’t have an area to see people together, even though she told the scheduler we wanted to sit together. Also, over priced for a pedicure. I spent $ 55 and didn’t even get to enjoy the company of my friend.

I went to Caracalla for a 90 min hot stone massage. Being from out of town & relying on the wonders of the internet to guide me, I ended up at caracallas. I came right in, they were expecting me, stopped in the ladies room, the. On to the massage room. My massage was wonderful, I asked for a lot of pressure & that’s what I got. DEEP tissue. It was awesome. I might have nodded off at the very end. I just wished it has a little more of an upscale ambiance in the rooms /​ladies room. The room was just a room, plain & didn’t seem very «spa» like, but once I closed my eyes I took myself away. Nice experience, I just expected a little more of a posh room.

Wow $ 45 cut & now I want to move to little rock… or move her to Atl!

Changing my review — My first visit was pretty great despite the one issue, and then they resolved it beautifully. Definately an A+ on customer service!

Front section has Aveda, Bumble, Phyto, as well as an eclectic selection of makeup (Aveda), trinkets (hair barrettes, homemade things), and gifts.
$ 25 for a nice men’s haircut — not a bad place to stop in while traveling if you couldn’t book an appointment at home before leaving.

I love Caracalla. Everything about this salon and spa is classy, comfortable and makes you feel pampered every time you go in. I’ve been here for several different services (never hair), and have never had a bad experience. In fact, once I just popped in to buy a gift certificate, and while I was waiting for the cashier to put it together, some spa employees were having a personal conversation near the front reception, and the cashier asked them to take their conversation somewhere else. She wasn’t rude and the employees understood and moved on, and I thought that this gesture demonstrated that this salon is about the CLIENT. And it truly is.
I think one of the things I really like about Caracalla is that it is spacious enough for all the services to have their own areas, that feel roomy, private, quiet, etc., as appropriate. You are not thrust on top of anyone else and you have all the attention of your professional. They give you all relevant information and really focus on you and take care of you.
You cannot put your tip on your credit card, though, and you tip the employees directly in envelopes at the front with checks or cash, so be prepared for that.
What will keep me coming back to Caracalla is how friendly and warm the people are there, even though they offer luxurious treatments and high quality services. They aren’t snooty, but very accessible and helpful. Treat yourself! You’ll love it!
