Good food, reasonable prices. Small restaurant in the heights with a nice little patio for outdoor dinning. Will return again.

Always love this place but today was very disappointed in the service. It’s frustrating when a waiter/waitress doesn’t write down anything about your order. The most important task is to get the food right. Thank goodness I don’t have any allergies. When we were asked to repeat what we ordered I knew that she would forget by the time she reached the terminal to type in our order. Food was okay but wish we would’ve actually gotten what we ordered.

The atmosphere is wonderful! Great first place for a dinner or lunch date. The burger was too well done. The homemade chips were good, but cold. The drinks look excellent! Try an appetizer, its well worth it.

I am giving this café one star only because of the service. The food was very good. My sister and I were visiting our cousin who lives right down the street from Cheers. It was late on Saturday night when we decided to walk down for a bite to eat. When we came in, we were greeted by a very nice young woman who sat us immediately. The patio was almost full, and all but two table inside were occupied — so it was a busy Saturday night. However, there appeared to be plenty of wait staff. We sat for approximately 10 minutes before our server came to the table. A young blond headed man was our server and unfortunately, I cannot remember his name. Since it took so long for him to come over to us, we had enough time to peruse the menu and make our choices for dinner. He asked what we wanted to drink and since this was my first time there, I asked about wine. He pointed to the wine list on the table, which I did not see when we sat down — my bad, then to a big chalk board posted on the wall way above our heads. Clearly, he was perturbed that I did not see these things. He then walked away without getting anyone else’s drink order. Five minutes later, he returned. My sister and cousin ordered drinks from the bar and I ordered ice tea. I told him that we were ready to order our food, but he said«Oh, I’ll be back for that after I put in your drink orders». He returns a full 10 minutes later with the two bar drinks, but not my tea. Still doesn’t take our food order. Two or three minutes later, he returns with the tea. My sister ordered an old fashion cheeseburger with bacon, my cousin ordered the Reuben sandwich, and I ordered the grilled steak salad — my sister needed mayo for her burger, but the waiter was nowhere to be found. We flagged another wait staff person and asked for them to ask our waiter to come over because we needed mayo and more water. The bad part of this is that our waiter was two tables away from us with his back to us, engaged in animated conversation with two other patrons. Meanwhile, my sister’s burger is getting cold and no mayo. We waited at least 15 minutes and finally I got up and went to the kitchen and asked for some mayo. Approximately five minutes later, he came to our table and said«Oh, you have the mayo I see, I’ll get the tea». I don’t know where the owners got this guy, but if he treats all his customers the way we were treated Saturday night, they need to get rid of him! As I said earlier, the food was very good, the drinks were good, the ambience was very nice for a neighborhood bistro, but the service from this particular waiter was abysmal. I felt bad for my cousin because she and her husband frequent this place regularly and really like it. She said she had never had such poor service.

Ate there for dinner last night. We had cheese dip which was good. The small is SMALL though for 6.50 $. Hubby had fried oysters as his main meal. He loved them. I had a cheese burger and fries. It was great. The portion sizes aren’t huge for the price but you’ll leave full and satisfied. We will be back.

We met friends for dinner and were pleased with the outdoor seating area(great for bringing our dog). The menu had a good variety to choose from and no one was disappointed. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious. I tried a local brew, Diamond Bear Pale Ale, and just enjoyed sitting enjoying good company and the quaint, local atmosphere of this gem in the heart of Little Rock. Take Note: – Parking is limited and can be difficult to find a spot close. – The bathroom is accessible only through the kitchen — single occupancy — don’t judge the restaurant by it’s bathroom — use it only if necessary.

This is a very cute spot in the Heights neighborhood. There are lots of shops and restaurants in this area and Cheers is a delicious addition. Choose an indoor or outdoor seat and order away! The menu has lots of casual items like sandwiches and salads and also offers heartier entrees in the evening. I ordered the Albuquerque sandwich which comes with turkey, peppery cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a really delicious BBQ type sauce. The combo was delicious and served with a lightly dressed salad which helped cut the heaviness of the sandwich. Great service here with a very relaxed vibe. Good for a lunch out, date night, or whatever! If I lived in LR I would be a regular here!

A little taste of NOLA in Little Rock. Excellent food and cozy atmosphere. Second time back on a work trip. Plenty of fresh food choices, good wine choices and yummy desserts!

Good spot, wish I had known of it when the weather was nice-the outdoor dining area seems like it would be great. Food was quite good, went with a simple club but it was above average and quick service. I think the name is a bit unfortunate, my mind instantly went«sitcom ripoff spot» but that is luckily not the case. Give it a go.

Atmosphere is great(try to get a table outside) and food is delicious. The service was a tad slow, but we were not in a hurry so didn’t mind. We ordered the Manhattans which were very tasty and strong. The only reason we did not give them 5 stars is that my husband found a hair at the bottom of his salad. He told the server and she offered a free dessert, but he declined. A few dollars off the bill would have been a nice gesture. We didn’t ask for it, but it would have been nice for them to have taken the initiative and given us a discount.

Very cute and tasty Little Rock gem! We ordered the fried okra for an appetizer and it was the best we had ever tasted. It was really crispy and not greasy at all. I ordered the salmon salad I requested the salmon be blackened. It was one of the best pieces of salmon that I have ever eaten. Nice portion, delicious blackened seasoning and it was steaming hot when it arrived to the table. Great mix of greens, fresh cranberries and strawberries and I was impressed that the small diced cucumber bits were an english cucumber(which is a more expensive and better cucumber than the kinds typically served in restaurants). The dressing was awesome as well. Everything was super fresh and good quality. My boyfriend ordered the steak salad and it said it was delicious, as well. He wasn’t asked how he wanted his steak, but when it was served, he said that it was cooked perfectly. And, he said whatever it was marinated in was a great flavor. I think those 2 salads were $ 11.95 each(I think). They have a nice wine list which are about $ 8 and up, per glass. Nice selection of unique beers as well. The small restaurant is decorated nicely and has a cute patio with fireplace. We were here at 3 pm on a Wednesday, so we were the only patrons. Our waitress was Shelece(sp?) and she was very attentive, friendly and made us feel welcome & appreciated as customers. I am so happy that we stumbled up on this restaurant and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Outstanding food here! Great cute little place. Had Fried green tomatoes, artichoke hearts, Reuben, and the chocolate cobbler was to die for. We will be back, without a doubt. Only shortfall was that they were out of blue crab. Everything else made up for the that though. Highly recommended.

Cheers is a converted dry cleaners and the place is funky! The restaurant is packed all the times I have been there. All their food is good from salads to burgers to heavy entrees. This is one of my favorite places to go when I am in LR. Sane staff year after year ! Good folks all around!

Sat 15 minutes in the restaurant, did not have a waiter come by to see us or to take a drink order or even check on us. Bad service, well, no service! Very disappointed!

Cheers has consistently had high quality food with a fun relaxed atmosphere. Ít is a local favorite for a very good reason. The seared scallops offer two delicious sauces and they are always tender and juicy. The outdoor seating is great since they got rid of the ashtrays. Great burgers and salads.

Cheers has a killer burger you should give it a try for sure. I’ve eaten here on a regular basis for the last seven years and it always hits the spot. Fried shrimp Poboy is rocking as well.

As a two-time Foursquare mayor of Cheers In the Heights, I can vouch for this wonderful little restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience. Since moving out of Little Rock, my family makes Cheers a must-stop venue when we are passing through. The Big Easy with half chicken and half shrimp is my standard go-to meal, and, when in season, the fried green tomatoes with grilled shrimp is a must. They also whip together a stellar Bloody Mary.

Fried green tomatoes and grilled shrimp appetizer — A MUST! — The breading is crispy and light, tomato is fresh and shrimp is well seasoned and grilled to perfection! Sandwiches are great — Shrimp poboy — you can get it grilled or fried(I’d suggest fried if you are getting the tomatoes and shrimp app). The Albuquerque sandwich and vegetarian sandwich was also delish! All of the entrees we had were excellent and the sandwiches are very fair and well-priced especially for dinner. I have no complaints about this place! The inside decorations are somewhat chic yet rugged. It’s like stepping into an Anthropology clothing store but for food and the ambiance matches«The Heights» surroundings perfectly. The inside lighting is dim but you can still see your food which I like. The noise level is perfect to be engaged in your own group’s conversation but not listen in on others’ conversations. When I visit Little Rock again, I’ll come back!
