Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Super disappointed with the service I received at this Cracker Barrell. Some of my family and I were out shopping and decided to get some kids meals to go, we called and placed our take out order and they said it would be ready in about 20 min…40 min later we are standing in the country store still waiting on our food. We were told by 2 workers that «they are bagging it up in the kitchen» and eventually a nice lady who worked the desk went and got it for us 10 min later and said she had to bag it up herself because it was just sitting there. FINALLY we take it to the car but then had to go back in for straws, napkins, condiments, and utensils… Would have given it 1 star, but the only slightly warm food was still pretty tasty. Organize your pick up Cracker Barrel! Because your food is good

Highly disappointed. Went in for breakfast & stood in line for a good 10 minutes to be seated. Was seated and that’s it. No one ever came to take our drink order or even ask us if we had been taken care of. 5 waiters/​waitresses walked right by us even looking at us. Sat there probably for about 20 minutes seriously with nothing just waiting. Finally just walked out.

Currently going through treatment for an illness and was looking for some base starches to soothe my stomach. I told the waitress my situation and ordered a muffin, just to have something. After an hour wait, my brother and I left. The waitress claimed that the kitchen was backed up, though there was no crowd. I spoke with the manager on duty, who apologized and stated that the woman did not place my order. So not only did she fail to put my order in, she lied to me as well. Terrible Service.

Don’t understand why some people have to un appreciate a Cracker Barrel. I’m a chef and insist on eating here. You just any screw up pancakes and scrambled eggs. I’m thankful I have a place to eat unlike a lot in our world. Be grateful

Shared the Double Meat breakfast with my hubby today. Wednesday, June 3^rd, approx. 9:30am. Here is the skinny:
MEATS: sausage and bacon both had so much smoked hickory style flavoring that it was over powering and inedible. :-(
EGGS: We asked for eggs that were «soft scrambled», which usually means to scramble them but not cook a long time so they are not dry. Apparently, here, that means to fry them, and barely scramble them. They were like rubber, and inedible.
GRAINS: neither of us are big carb eaters, but without our protein we resorted to the grains. The grits were undercooked, no comparison to The Waffle House’s grits. The biscuits were really good, but had such a strong flavor that could only take a few bites (guess because of the buttermilk they use?).
One good star: the yogurt cup with granola and fruit was a welcome relief. It was tart, which was good from the explosion of favors that overwhelmed me from bites of everything else.
SERVICE: very slow, but server was nice and looked like she was doing her best.

Arrived at 3pm with my disabled father. No one offered to open a door or move any items. Folks were waiting to be seated and were complaining about how long it was taking. Was seated. No one checked on us for 10 minutes. Server took drink and meal orders. Meal arrived quickly. No silverware. Asked our server. After 5 minutes I went to front desk to ask for some. Guy told me the server would get it. Server brings silverware. It’s filthy. She brings more. Still filthy. Food was awesome as always.

The food is cold and noisy never come back to this one we waited over an hour for our food

I recently came to this Cracker Barrel while I was visiting my family in Arkansas. I had never been to Cracker Barrel before so I was very exited to come here especially with my family.
The food is good, but not great. I would definitely come back for the biscuits! Those biscuits were amazing, and I feel like I enjoyed them more than I enjoyed my eggs and sausage. But, the food was good and if I was invited to go to cracker barrel again, I definitely would go.

This is easily the worst Cracker Barrel I’ve ever been to. Now I love some Cracker Barrel. And I thought for sure a Cracker Barrel in the south would be infinitely better than anything we have to offer up north. But alas, I was sorely mistaken. While the staff was friendly, nothing else about this Cracker Barrel was as it should have been. First, it took FOREVER for our server to come over. In fact, the hostess ultimately ended up taking our order because our waitress was no where to be found. Second, even after we ordered it took a long time for the food to come out. Then when our food finally arrived it was cold! How is it even possible to let a hashbrown casserole and bacon get cold?! Even the biscuits were just so so. They were a little too brown. Overall, this Cracker Barrel was a complete miss. What a waste of calories!

Cracker Barrel is always hit or miss. Unfortunately, this location (Shackleford Road, Little Rock) is a huge miss. We never really got to eat anything because, although they brought the food, they never brought the rest of it, like the biscuits, jelly, ketchup, etc. the waitress never came back and the food got too cold to eat. The only thing we could do is leave and go somewhere else. There is no need to return to this Cracker Barrel. I would suggest everyone else to simply stay away as well.

I love the this chain restaurant. My first time at this location and it was just as good. Love the sweet tea without lemon.

Always love some country cooking. It’s a hit or miss though, sometimes your food is hot and fresh… others not so much.
