Glad to have another option near work, but menu is limited and prices are high. I ordered a salad and drink and paid over $ 12. The salad was not that big, and some of the flavor combinations in the Garbage Salad were questionable. Poppyseed dressing tasted like Miracle Whip with poppyseeds. Food preparation also seemed very slow and restaurant was not that busy. Probably won’t be my «go-to» place for lunch, unless menu expands, prices are adjusted, and service improves.

The Positives: –Local, friendly owners –Fresh Ingredients –Modern décor with an easy to follow layout for ordering –Affordable prices –Rotating art for sale The Opportunities: –Limited Menu –Bathroom? Where art thou? –Good food, but no stand out items. I enjoyed my salad, but it won’t be the first place I think of when I crave my next salad fix. The last item is really my biggest concern. In order to succeed, I think they need to come up with some unique, shining stars on their menu. Something I have to have more of. They are a welcome addition to the downtown lunch scene, however!

I am in love with their grilled portobello for dinner! Perfectly done, amazing roasted peppers mixed with cheese… for awhile I was convinced it was maybe pimiento and cheese in the center.

Went here for lunch. I was very disappointed. You have to stand in line to place your order and pay for your order even if you called your order in for pick up. I ordered the Mediterranean tuna sandwich and it was horrible. I also paid extra for potato salad and got a tiny bag of chips. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:00, but ended up waiting 20 minutes on a call-in order. Very disappointed! Very pricey for what they give you!

This is the soft opening so I will be back to see the full menu. I had chef salad, sweet tea and they gave me a free cinnamon roll(super nice people). Salad was good, lots of cheese and meats, no egg which I think come on a chef but maybe not. The tomatoes are cherry, I prefer slicing tomatoes, cute croutons. Icebergs lettuce mainly maybe a little romaine lettuce. Small cup of dressing, I needed more. I had ranch dressing and it was thin, not sure if house made it not. I didn’t get any crackers but that may have been a slight oversight. They opened yesterday so those little things don’t bother me. The cinnamon roll was chewy(as you would expect with pizza dough) and they gave it to me for free. I wanted a lot more cinnamon on it for my taste. It was large so for a bigger appetite you would love the size. Sweet tea… yep I loved the sweet tea and for those that see my reviews I am connoisseur of sweet tea. I can’t wait to try a pizza!
